We just can’t get enough of food trucks and this time we visited Tisiri on 29th August and we got:

☕️ Moroccan Mint Tea Very nice for a cold night!

🥪 Brisket Sandwich This was legit #1! The brisket was cooked for 8 hours, it was tender and it’s served in its own juice 🤤

🍗 Fried Chicken Ribs - Honey Soy Chicken came straight off the bone, the sauce was quite soy forward with a nice hint of honey which is a great difference to the usual! The sesame seeds on top just added another crunchy layer to the chicken coating itself.

🍟 Loaded Buffalo Fries The chicken coated with sriracha butter is a genius idea that I never knew I needed 🤯 This one tops it for me, I’m definitely obsessed now! Chips were nicely seasoned. The fried onions (present in brisket sandwich as well) was one of the best toppings I’ve had.

🍗 Chicken Bites The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked and seasoned but compared to the rest of the menu it’s not a stand out. Great for a quick snack with chips tho, or for your little ones! Maybe a dip on the side would be nice too

Overall, definitely one of the best feasts we’ve had in this food truck area ‼️ Sooo hard to pinpoint a must try item cause you definitely need to get all of the...

This sandwich was not toasted, did not taste like Turkish bread, and if it was it was mediocre. The few "pieces" of something besides the meat was tasteless, soggy and couldn't even guess what it was. There was not an onion on the whole sandwich and the mayonnaise spread was overpowering. Sad excuse for a brisket sandwich for 20.00. Dull, lifeless and could only taste that icky sweet spread.

Dear Tisiri (owner),

Thank you for your implied concern, and for explaining the product and process involved. In my particular case I believe, as it was very late, someone was a bit careless making my sandwich. The bread roll was not toasted, there were no onions, and maybe three small bits that I can only guess were "pickles."

I would assume the meat might have seemed plain tasting as there were no coordinating flavours to speak of. With the meat and bread roll being cold, and with more mayonnaise than anything else, this poor sandwich looked meagre and disappointing. I wanted what was in the pictures on your site, and I'm sure you can sympathise with that wish.

I'm sorry if I offended you, I'm sure when served correctly your product is as good as your clientele profess it to...

Love love love their flavours! We actually ordered quite a few things to try and all are pretty good!

My highlight would definitely be the lamb skewer (tender and flavourful lamb) and the chicken wings w sirarcha- we had our sirarcha on the side so the kids can have the wings as well.

The burgers can a wonderful smokey flavour but mind you the bun is more of the traditional burger bun and not brioche. I prefer brioche but it’s my personal preference. The sauce in the bun was just out of the world.

The BSP (rather than HSP) is made with their famous brisket. The brisket was beautifully cooked and even my very picky 8 year old had some, while my 6 Yr old smashed it (the brisket and surprisingly not the chips 🤭 they ate a lot of it but we certainly got lots as well!)

The servings are huge, especially the BSP!

P.S. they have an indoor seating area, with toilets and all, even though you might think it’s a good truck. So don’t let a rainy day deter...

Tisiri's food truck in Melbourne is a gem, and its brisket sandwich is the crowning jewel. The brisket is slow-cooked to a tender perfection with a smoky flavor that's testament to its meticulous preparation. Each bite is a harmony of tastes and textures, from the robust beef to the tangy, sweet sauce that complements without overpowering. The bread, soft yet with a satisfying crunch, it's the perfect stage for the brisket's performance. Served with crisp golden chips this isn't just a sandwich, but a full-blown sensory experience. For those seeking a standout culinary experience in Melbourne's vibrant food scene, Tisiri's brisket sandwich is a must-try. It's not just a meal; it's an affirmation of what happens when passion and produce meet, creating a dish that's truly unforgettable.
