Experience based off Saturday at 10am. I can't bring myself to rate this Cafe a 3, however, in such a competative environment, the 'one waitress' had a big impact on the overall experience.

Food: 4/5. Energy Recharge looked amazing. Great portions, fresh ingredients. Aromas...fantastic. Great job here. Eggs Bennidict: As per above. Great job and I would return to have the two dishes above. Sourdoug toast with side of butter and Jam- Very disappointing. Hear me out....something so simple could have been good. Received 2 toasts with average butter ( looked like margaine or something, slapped into a small serving dish). Jam...terrible. Minuscule amount of Jam...barely enough for a half of one toast. It may seem that I'm over reacting here but when the toast dish costs nearlly 40% of a full breakfast, I would expect a good quality butter and enough Jam for the toast ( the Jam appeared to be from those single serve satchels that you can find at a fast food place) Very disappointed.

Atmosphere: Not too bad. Appeared to be clean and fairly modern. Service. Mixed emotions. I attended this place to meet a client. Client advised that they had requested a table away from the entrance. When they requested to change, the waitresses gave them attitude and was very bothered their request ( I was not there when this occurred) Then it came time order. The same witness asked if we wanted to start with drinks/ coffee. We made the order and I stated that we would need a few more minutes to order the food........she looked at me and rolled her eyes and said...' yeah...I was about to say that... I will come back for your food order'. As she walked away, she shook her head and continued to roll her eyes. She was very rude and if it had not been for a client meeting, I would have given her a much deserved ' watch your attitude' feedback. Unfortunately, she was a typical Gen Z, who feel that they are providing the client a great favour by taking an order. If i was the owner of this place, I would send her packing on the spot. Management are welcomed to contact me to discuss further, as I am more than happy to provide further details. We were then attended by another waitress, who brought out our coffees, and she was amazing.

This is why it is vital for management to keep a close eye on how their employee interact with...

We'd been here for breakfast once before and it was OK, nothing spectacular. Thought we'd give it another go to see if it had improved.

First thing we noticed was how cold it was in there. A lady at another table even went to her car to grab her jacket. Waitress was quick to ask us what drinks we wanted & they came out quickly and we ordered our food. She took our order down incorrectly - we both went for the High Voltage Recharge. She had put one down as non-vegetarian and one vegetarian. Lucky we were listening as she read back our order & we corrected her because neither of us ordered vegetarian anything. Our egg choice was fried eggs, sunny side up.

It was a very long wait for our meals & I had long finished my drink before our meals arrived. Imagine our disappointment when after all that time, we both end up with scrambled eggs instead of our fried eggs. We couldn't afford to waste any more time because we were hungry & couldn't wait another 40 minutes for new eggs to be cooked correctly.

Everything on the plate was pretty bland. how could the mushrooms be so flavourless and oily? The eggs were bland, even with added salt. The bacon and chorizo was so greasy, I ended up with indigestion later in the day. I didn't bother with the relish or sourdough or hash brown - I'd had enough & had lost my appetite.

Prices were fair but quality of food poor, service poor, wait time poor. Icy cold inside and there were very few people in there too.

We won't try it a third time. We'll find another place as this suburb has...

Have had some coffees from here which were nice so thought we’d try out their food. There was a large menu with plenty to choose from. It was all pretty reasonably priced. The coffee was alright and came out quickly. It wasn’t strong enough for my liking but I’ll know for next time to get an extra shot. The food took a while to come out and we had finished our drinks by the time we got our food. It wasn’t busy at all and only had 2 tables, other than us. We got the chilli scrambled eggs, which were lovely and a great portion. The porridge was nice and warm but felt as if it needed some more fruit. The French toast was nice but a bit overwhelming. There were 4 different sauces which wasn’t great all together. Just the jam would have been good as it was like a jam doughnut. It was just too sweet with everything and couldn’t finish it all. All the food was quite filling and good. The service wasn’t great. Server looked at us as if we shouldn’t have walked in. We had 2 served at our table to order our food and drink and both weren’t very friendly. Might go back to try some lunch items and...

Brunch for 5 plus a little one on a Sat morning. It was easy to book online. It’s within the corporate buildings area of Narre. It conveniently has a bathroom, and there is both a small parking lot and street parking. There is trolley and ramp access both back and front entry way. Some seats also have powerpoint access if you need to work and eat. Food wise it was good - the menu is small but it has some good sweet and savoury options. We had the shakshuka, benny, the smashed avo and two high voltage recharges - with some additionals. Everything tasted so good - very fresh and filling. Also a good serving size I’d say. We were served pretty quickly and we were able to pay separately when we were done. It was a great find looking for brunch places around the area.
