I recently ordered a Black Bean noodle and honey chicken from West Wok on Sydney Rd, and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. The portions were incredibly generous, and the flavors were so delicious that I couldn't stop eating!

The Black Bean noodle dish was cooked to perfection. The noodles were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of sauce to make it flavorful without being overwhelming. The black beans added an earthy richness that perfectly complemented the dish. It was clear that the chef put a lot of effort and skill into preparing this dish.

This place is one of those secret little gems you find where the value for price and the serving size and taste are all really well balanced. For under 12$ I got a dish that not only tasted amazing but really filled me up. I was actually so impressed I’ve come back multiple times.

I’m a guy who looks for a good deal and not only do I know this place has them but judging by the frankly insane amount of Uber eats deliveries going out the door and the walk in customers to the seated ones. It looks like a huge amount of people also appreciate what this place is offering.

I got a side dish of peanut sauce to drizzle on my meal and it was criminal how good that peanut sauce was.

I mostly ever review a joint when it’s a huge let down or a HUGE surprise that I want to share. And I am recommending this to anyone who is into Asian. I mean cmon how could you not just take a chance on a dish for literally 11$.

My experience at west wok was amazing. Completely in love with the flavor. I ordered kung po chicken with rice and mamak me goreng noodles. Noodles were 10/10 for me. The taste, amount of noodles and chicken & prawn in it all did justice.

Kung po chicken n rice was also very very tasty however, I found that the amount of chicken was a bit low and rice were a bit sticky n dry didn't seem fresh boiled rice lot to me. Not sure if the texture is actually supposed to be that way. Also the amount of rice n gravy seemed a bit low even for a single person.
