Wok'd Carrum Downs — Restaurant in Melbourne

Came in with my wife and got Singapore noodles we asked for no prawns as my wife is allergic to seafood. When we told them the the story she printed out the receipt and she said to us look there is no where on the receipt that says no prawns.

I said my partner is allergic to Seaford we specifically asked for no Seaford .

The Indian lady was rude and just walked away to make our meal again .

When she handed the food to me she asked why I didn’t call back last night

I told her we picked up our order at 8.50 and by the time we got home and showered and jumped in bed to eat our dinner and realised it was 9.15 pm . I told her we tried to call but there was no answer.

She replied with well we close at 9pm . Like it was our fault .

Food is ok but they need to work on customer service all we wanted to...

I waited more than 30 minutes after ordering, but it was a busy night (at 7.30pm on a Saturday). They fouled our plain rice with an unordered satay skewer. Was it meant to be a bonus? Stick to handing out complimentary prawn crackers. The special fried rice was very unspectacular. The satay chicken was mainly vegetables, including a piece of capsicum with an obvious (10mm diameter) (rotten?) blemish, which upon discovery halfway through my meal, immediately took my appetite away. The Singapore noodles were good. I only went there because our usual Chinese takeaway was closed. I wish I had chosen somewhere, anywhere else. I immediately binned the remaining uneaten food (about half) as I didn't feel that I could trust them as leftovers for the next day. Maybe my experience was a one-off; it looked...

Tonight we had takeaway dinner from Wok'd & it was absolutely delicious. I phoned through my order & then 15 mins later I went to pick it up. Of course the order was ready & waiting for pick up. The cost of our 5 dishes was $55. I think this is pretty reasonable & was ample food for four hungry adults. Our five dishes were put into attractive recyclable tubs, which was packed into a specialty carry bag. I thought it was well presented & easy to carry. Once home, we opened the tubs of food which was still hot & everything was cooked superbly. The meat was cooked well & still moist. The veggies were fresh & half cooked which I love. Our overall experience at Wok'd was excellent. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you Wok'd see...
