Wok's N Dumpling (Hurstbridge) — Restaurant in Melbourne

Unfortunately quite disappointing. We had tried their food when they first opened and the dumplings came home undercooked, and chicken cashew was flavourless. Considering they were brand new we only have them feedback over the phone and didn't leave a review. Now we've orders again hoping for some improvement, curry laksa was okay. Chicken curry rice was one drumstick, boiled egg and some broccoli on top of rice, there are no descriptions or pictures on their website so we didn't know and wouldn't have ordered this if we did. Special fried rice was quite sweet, felt more like a nasi Goreng then your typical special fried rice, i dont mind the flavour just not what we had expected. Chicken sweet corn soup was cold and we had to microwave.

Really hope the staff can take this feedback in a positive way to improve as we're really hoping for a nice asian take out in...

Had the beef and black been sauce and fried rice, this dish was cooked great and yummy. The vegetables were soft as well as the beef and plenty of flavour in the sauce. On the other hand the beef boiled dumpling were were nasty. They were falling apart when I stuck my fork in them, the beef was off and felt like they were microwaved for too long or something. The food standard and flavour from Woks is outstanding. Have been frequenting them for take away since they opened as being local and convenient is great on the way home. Lately, I feel that the quantity of food has reduced. Special Fried Rice used to be filled to the brim, now the rice is no longer even touching the lid. It's kinda a covert way of increasing the price.
