Yummy Pho Langwarrin — Restaurant in Melbourne

I decided to try a different pho restaurant to my usual, Top Pho at Karingal Hub. I should not have bothered.

When I ordered my pho, there was only one couple in the restaurant. When I was told my takeaway order would take 15-20 minutes, I was not impressed. For soup from a specially pho shop where one would imagine the stock would be made in bulk and the other ingredients pre-prepared in serving size portions to expedite their delivery, I felt that the wait was unreasonable.

The restaurant itself is a tiny, cramped space that is badly in need of a make-over, and the lady who was serving was short with everyone she spoke to.

After a wait that was close to 25 minutes in the end, my pho was ok. I am not convinced that it was worth the drive to Langwarrin or the long wait. I will be returning to Top Pho for my next bowl of...

There's a waitress here that barks orders, the exact loud words were "You sit there!" and it wasn't a suggestion! I had to grin as I'm a Faulty Towers fan. The Pho is not great. They don't brew it near as long enough then try to make up for it by adding excess herbs. They got our order wrong. We asked if they could replace the beef strips with vegetables, which has always been fine with no extra charge every other place we've been, as it's a cheaper substitution. The worst restaurant ever been to. She is just really rude and yells all the time. We ordered food anyway and I asked some more chillies. Then one of staff came and she actually threw the dish on the table. We didn't even start eating but we decided to leave. The lady who yells she said "$21, finish?" We complained what happened and they said "what do you want? Do you want me to pay your bill?" Couldn't believe what they said. I was going to pay the bill anyway.
