I’ve been to a few wine tasting sessions and this is the best that I’ve had. We had such a fantastic time such that we spent hours there unknowingly!

From the moment we arrived, Katrina made us feel right at home with the warmest welcome. She was down to earth and personable, checking in on us and making sure we are fed well and of course drank well!

The setting was beautiful and relaxed — exactly what you want when you're sipping wine and enjoying good company. Our tables were old oak barrels - loved the winery and cosy touch!

Adam, Katrina’s son, walked us through the entire tasting menu, and honestly, it felt like a mini masterclass (in the best way). He is very patient and knowledgeable. He shared the story behind each wine, pointed out the subtle differences between them, and gave us a real sense of the history and passion behind this family-run business. It’s clear they pour their heart into every bottle. It’s truly amazing.

And can we talk about the cheese board?! Absolutely amazing. Thoughtfully curated, super fresh, and paired perfectly with the wines. They recalled I didn’t want a certain type of cheese and made sure I didn’t get them. Adam even shared with us what would go well with the various wines. It really brought the whole experience together.

I don’t usually write Google reviews, but I have to admit—they’re doing a great job, and they truly deserve credit. It was my parents’ first time visiting a vineyard, and they didn’t know what to expect. Adam was very professional and patient in introducing the wines. He even gave my dad a tour of the vineyard.

My mum isn’t really into wine and just planned to sit and wait for us. Adam immediately poured her a glass of water and served it to her. When he noticed that she was feeling cold, he turned on the heater right away. His thoughtful gestures really exceeded my expectations—I was genuinely touched by these small acts of kindness.

The wine tasting experience was incredible. It’s definitely worth a visit for both the wine selection and the warm, attentive service. Because of this excellent experience, I’ve decided to return to Perth again and spend more time enjoying wine tasting at Garbin Estate.
