Racecourse Takeaway — Restaurant in Moree

Got there 20 past 5, sunset, was hard to tell if open or not as it's set back from road and hardly any lighting, or ample signage...... Went to order older dark hair woman served me, you lost your staff a point or two, No hello, what would you like you just looked at me until I started to order, all you said was $16.40 that was it...no thankyou, how long it would be zilch..... I noticed you were a lot friendlier to those you know.....guess what our money as tourists is the same colour, and we along with the locals keep you in Business...just Rembert that...To the woman who told me it was ok to eat takeaway inside and offered us plates thankyou, as I said it's saves dishes...and that's why we have fish n chips no fuss eating..😜🤣Also to the other woman who saw us eating out of the box, again thankyou for the plate offer...and the young girl your smile as you walked in was very much appreciated..that's all it takes to makes a person's day.... Our food was awesome and the ratings are with it........great...

Have stopped here previously and had good experiences, which is why I stopped again, but yesterday I dropped in to get some lunch and copped a very surly assistant who looked like she'd rather be anywhere else. No politeness or "thanks" or anything. Served me my lunch, punched it into the eftpos machine, zero customer service. The sandwich was ok,the 2 x potato scollops were under cooked and barely edible. Good hamburger. Great value for money. Long long wait though. Watched them cook the chips put them in a box then into a bain marie for 25 minutes and then cook the burger.
