Country Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Murgon

I look forward to cfc eagerly when I pass thru murgon. I have noted over the last 2 years the steady decline in quality. It is now to the point i know Unless there is a change in ownership, it is pointless going back. The chicken when I purchased it has been dry and no doubt stale. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back, the chicken that was in the box was so shrivelled up and dry that it was obvious it had been sitting in there 24-48hrs I would not feed it to my dog for fear of him gas bombing the house beyond habitable levels! The health dept needs to be called in. Pretty obvious by visual inspection they are defying rules on how long the chicken , once cooked may be kept in the hotbox. BRING BACK CFC FROM THE DEAD!

Harpreet singh Gulati is listed as the company owner as per 2024 business account information, I have requested that he contact me directly regarding his employee that has only been working for less than a year in this store. Someone who doesn’t follow basic customer service rules, thinkings illegally working underage is his experience in customer service and refuses to hand off customer reviews to his employer while failing to follow government outlined laws under the ACCC.

The only place open in Murgon after 1.30 pm on Sunday to get anything to eat . Thought we would have some Country Fried chicken . No, we didn't. The chicken heaps of it were sitting in the hot box . It was not a nice golden crisp colour but DARK brown and dry looking . It looked like it had been cooked a dozen times We then didn't have much other choice, so we went with Kabana as it had looked hot and fresh , a chiko roll and some chicken chip things the whole lot hardly warm, and the chiko roll looked awful . Sad to say the food was not very fresh . Staff, while not overly enthusiastic, were pleasant . It's not a place I recommend for food . In hind sight should have just bought the 2 Mars bars cannot go...
