Give it a miss!
As a local I have given this cafe a try on number of occasions in the past 9 months after having such a great pie when the new owners took over....but sadly have been let down every since.
Nope....today was the final straw with a Spring Lamb Pie.....not only expensive ($8 - yes $8 for a meat pie!) but the pie was only half full of filling. By the time you bit into the pastry it was just air and when you eventually have the pie half on its side, the filling was only half full.....very disappointing. Plus the two pieces of 'lamb' were rather indistinguishable. Why would you pay $8 for half a pie???
Previous occasions have also been disappointing with poor pastry and unflavoursome fillings. I am all for supporting a local business but this is just going to drive customers away......not...

We waited 35 minutes for an average coffee, cold food and to find out that a side we had paid extra for was unavailable. No offer of a refund for that item either. It appeared people that were ordering takeaway coffee were prioritized over us as well.
Edit in response: our transaction was at 9.38 as per our bank statements. This is still a lengthy time considering there was only 1 other couple getting food. We definitely did not request to wait for our drinks, that was never a conversation and the eggs were cold. Takeaway coffees are also not...
Read moreA bit disappointed. I think the barista needs to learn what temperatures to heat the milk to. Almond milk should be no more than 65°. Yesterday I got an Almond milk coffee and it was so hot that I burnt my mouth. I also got a sultana scroll and asked that it be warmed up.
