Murrumbateman Takeaway — Restaurant in Murrumbateman

Tonight's experience was unfortunately bad luck for both myself but also for Murrumbateman Takeaway. We've lived around the village for almost 4 years and finally lined our dinner plans up for the first time with the Murrumbateman Takeaway opening hours and it unfortunately bombed to a level we weren't prepared for. We called around 7:15pm on a Saturday to place our pizza+ order and was told it would be ready in 20min. We then arrived around 7:30pm, paid for our order then shortly after was told the takeaway had run out of pizzas and that a substitute for our order would have to be agreed upon. The staff were incredibly apologetic as well as understanding and offered a partial refund combined with alternative meals plus some free dim sums for two for the items we initially ordered. We happily accepted both however found that the meals, especially the vegetarian alternative, fell well below expectations and left us hesitant to give the Takeaway a second go. It's especially disappointing considering the village is growing and that I wouldn't have been the only person disappointed by the lack of organisation and preparation by the takeaway. Hopefully we have an overflow of continuous support that would encourage the takeaway to purchase enough goods that would see it through to the end of its trading time of the week so we don't have more customers out of hand and disappointed...

Stopped in for a coffee and took in our reusable coffee cups only to be told it wont fit under machine and he will have to make it in a paper cup...really couldnt be bothered explaining to the id*t that he could easily use the milk jugs for the coffee save wasting cups so told her not to worry about it honestly how can you run a business when you have no common sense. Also feel punished for trying to do the right thing and use reusables instead of disposables. WILL NEVER...
