Magic Noodle — Restaurant in Nambucca Heads

Have ordered many takeaways here previously during their years of trading but sadly they have dropped the ball totally! Meals have increased in price and decreased in serving sizes for a while now which one or the other is fine, both at the same time is just a rip off. (Even allowing for increased costs). Not sure if they have changed hands, but now when ordering on the phone the person doesn't speak english very well and it is extremely difficult to get even just a basic order correct. Their numbering system doesn't work as a recent pamphlet with corresponding numbers gave us completely different dishes to what we ordered. Tried ordering prawn chips, they had no idea what we wanted! The prawn chips are now way less than half of what they used to be and they are now charging more. The meals themselves also lack the normal great taste they used to have and are now tasting all much the same. Having had semi regular takeaways for years now, have tolerated quite a few hiccups of late but sadly is now a complete waste of money and cannot currently recommend Magic Noodle in Nambucca. Absolute shame to see what used to be a great takeaway option do a complete 360 and now be somewhere to avoid. Never had a problem till now! The young man who took the order has terrible phone manner, picked order up he was so confused on the orders, got home and he had given us the wrong food, and had over charged us, drove all the way back out had to wait 10 minutes for correct order, he was told to give it to me when it was ready but sat it down and took another order instead, the other guy was very frustrated at this, took abit to explain I also needed part refund as I was charged for incorrect dishes, overall just a horrible experience, my lesson to you young man Get a hair tie and put your hair back, as you can barely see what your doing, and your working with food, it is a requirement for food safety Slow it down, I could see you were trying to do too many things at once and in doing so, you are getting it all wrong, take your time and listen to the other staff trying...

I stumbled across the Magic Noodle as it was the only thing open in Nambucca Heads other than Subway or Pizza Hut on a Monday night. Located at the local "centre" it was relatively busy, which defies all logic as the food was inedible. I literally could not eat it. I ordered the King Prawn Fried rice, the rice was congealed and very salty, soaked in soy sauce, no veges, just rice, and half a dozen prawns, and Chicken Pad Thai, same again, congealed noodles that are precooked, no eggs, no veges, just noodles, and peanuts on top, one bite threw it away.
