We came for dinner service on Thursday April 3, 2025 to celebrate my husband’s 63rd birthday. When we arrived, upon being shown to our table, a birthday card was waiting. This set the scene for what was to come. Linens and fine stemmed wine glasses also set the mood. Our wait staff were attentive and efficient. The food was sublime! We started with complimentary labneh and salmon mousse Bellini. Our entrees were the lobster ravioli and the pig and prawn: both delicious but the pig and prawn was our pick (the corn salsa made the dish so fresh). Our mains were the mahi-mahi and the venison (we were too engrossed in our own to share): both absolutely delicious and so en pointe. For dessert, we had the passion fruit meringue and The Chocolate - my husband preferred The Chocolate but I thought them a fair split (I am a dessert girl!) we finished with coffees, presented with a meringue in the side, and made perfectly to our very specific orders. We would especially like to acknowledge Melissa - who was an exceptional maître de - ensuring diners were looked after, staff were on top of their roles and the new trainee was looked after. She dealt deftly and determinedly with a patron’s complaint and condescending, patronising tone - all the while maintaining a dignified grace and poise. She demonstrated positive role modelling and leadership to her staff. Michael was another calming influence on staff. Our compliments to the chefs - who we stopped to thank on our exit. Having been told that Latitude 30 is the best in town - and having been there on more than one disappointing occasion - we beg to differ. 99 on Park is by far the best evening we’ve had in our six years (so far) at Coffs. We will be back to celebrate many more occasions and will bring family and friends to share the experience. The menu at 99 on Park is a true work of art. Every dish I had was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and creativity. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was impeccable. The ingredients used were fresh and of the highest quality, which truly elevated each dish to a new level.
One standout dish that I have to mention is the Cauliflower veloute, truffle and crispy bread. It was an absolute delight for the taste buds - a perfect blend of textures and flavors that left me craving more.
The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and passionate about the cuisine they served. They were more than willing to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had, enhancing our overall dining experience.

The only thing I would say was the lady who took our food order seemed a bit annoyed and impatient with us. I wanted to ask about a couple of items on the menu that had caught my eye because I couldn't decide between the two. She seemed annoyed when I asked about the second one and brushed me off, didn't explain anything about the dish and basically just insinuated that she would come back when we were ready to order. She also seemed annoyed at us when we didn't order as much as she wanted us to or go for the specials that she suggested. This I would day was the only downside to the night as it made my partner and I feel a bit uncomfortable but the rest of the staff, the atmosphere and the food was beautiful.
