Ordered fungus pizza and cheesy garlic bread

The choice of bread for the cheesy garlic bread was different

The garlic oil tasted nice enough

But the bread was too thick and spongey for garlic bread, would have been more appropriate for a sandwich - especially with the way it was sliced and stacked

And they stacked them so that the three pieces were adhered to each other with cheese and very difficult to pull apart, by the time we pulled the top 2 off, the bottom one had no cheese on it lol

The pizza we ordered was the fungus: Pine nuts, local sourced mushrooms and truffle seem like a winning combo

But it lacked saltiness, and the truffle flavour was very hard to detect

For my palate it was bland

There was a lot of mozzarella but I feel like a creamy salty cheese may have helped bring out some of the other flavours more

Overall, it was an okay meal but not good enough for me to order again

Margarita pizza ordered. A Well cooked pizza. Could have had a bit more fire char. The pizza looked good but was missing on a few elements of a Neapolitan pizza style Base was flavourless. Its should be the star of the show. Obviously not a long slow ferment or poolish. Crust needed more air in it. Too much cheese & two cheese's . Should only have one. All you could taste was cheap mozzarella Pizza sauce was no existent. Could not taste any tomato. All i could taste was cheese & the basil topping had little effect. Might be an idea to make it with basil however its hard to defeat too much cheese I could only eat half of it due to the flavour . Sorry for the hard review but i make better pizza at home with an Ooni oven & takes max...

My son and I were staying in Coffs for his AFL Carnival and this was just 2 minutes walk from our accommodation.. He love ❤️ love ❤️ loved his Family size Meatlovers and reckon it's one of the best pizza he's ever had he's 12 and he ate all of it except 2 slices as he was full...I had the Family size Seafood with hot chilli 🌶 sauce and it was fantastic, very generous toppings great flavour and the base was thin & crispy but not too thin and not rubbery like Dominos..also they are done in a wood fired oven ..Friendly service and waiting time is about 25mins but very much...
