We visited, stayed, and dined here last week. It is a quiet and peaceful place for accommodation. There is a pool and a laundry facility. The cabin we booked for two nights is alright and can accommodate up to 4 people. The price is also very affordable. Unfortunately, some damp patches and mould build-up are in some parts of the ceiling. Hopefully, this will be addressed as we are looking at coming back. We had breakfast in Big Oma's Coffee shop, just at the front of the Clog barn. The pancakes were amazing, and it was a great experience to try some Dutch breakfast dishes. You have a nice view of the creek at the back you can have some group of Gecko visitors while dining. 😊 In the afternoon, we walked around the model Dutch village. It was alright looking at the little houses and the castle, but this is something you don't see every day. This is just beside the souvenir shop where you can watch, if you get lucky, clog-making. Overall, it was a good experience. 3⭐ - Accommodation 5⭐ - Big Oma's Coffee shop 4⭐ - Model Dutch village

THE TOURIST ATTRACTION Cute miniature village at the back of the shop. Was a delight to see. The workshop area was not so bad either. I dont think its a functional workshop, but nice to see nonetheless. THE CAFE NEXT DOOR (Oma's Cafe) I think for the frekkendelle and the croquettes are over priced. The croquettes were $4 each, we ordered one beef and one chicken. I couldn't taste the difference. Plus the size is too small for the asking price. A total rip off. The frekkedelle special was $15, two thin sausages and a plate of chips. Nothing to get excited about. Thats highway robbery. Also, it took them 1hr to serve our food. The place was not even overly busy. Cooking sausages does not take 1hr. We stopped there because we thought its a different cuisine, might be better that the other fast food down the road, but for what's it worth, it's actually better to get food somewhere else.

A convenient stop to pull off the highway at, if heading southbound with plenty of parking. They serve some delicious meals made with fresh ingredients. There is the option to sit in the cute indoor dining room or outdoors on the deck overlooking a creek. The creek is fairly low/dry but you can spot and feed a few fish and there are plenty of lizards sunning themselves on the rocks. The staff we encountered were super friendly which was delightful. You cannot leave without seeing "Holland Down Under" the miniature village filled with many replicas of prominent Dutch buildings and churches, complete with an electric train. A pleasant stop and possibly much quieter and less crowded than The Big Banana if you aren't interested in thrill-seeking rides!

I wish they put as much love and detail in the cafe as they did with the miniature Dutch town. The models and surrounding gardens are beautifully kept, very tidy and nice to look at. There are the model buildings, canals with running water, a model train track and, of course, windmills. Butterflies, dragonflies and lizards bathing in the sun. It's free too so 5 stars for that. Unfortunately, the cafe was a little disapointing. We had cakes and coffees so can't comment on the lunch options. But the interior is a little dated looking and the service did not seem too enthusiastic to be there. Iced coffee wasn't great, neither was the apple pie. Cookies and cream cheesecake however was delicious. 2 stars for the cafe

Absolutely loved this restaurant. As a dutch person, visiting my daughter in Coffs Harbour Australia this is a must! All the dutch food/snacks on the menu that we love. The kroket are not the same as we get them in the Netherlands, very small and thin. The Frikandel special was more like the dutch version and also were the poffertjes, bitterballen and apple pie. It is a must to go there. I would have loved to buy some more dutch groceries from their shop but a little bit expensive what is understandable. They have a presentation as well in clogg making and the lovely little mini dutch village outside. It's not just a restaurant and shop they also have a caravan site/holiday park. Worth a visit!

We drove 3 hours to visit your gorgeous miniature village after seeing it advertised on the telly here on the Gold Coast during my days off and we were so glad we did! We loved the village with the gardens so beautifully maintained and the souvenir shop - a great outing and the staff were friendly and welcoming- unfortunately we couldn’t stay for a meal but when we popped our heads in the cafe, the food others were enjoying looked and smelled divine! Easy access and plenty of parking Free entry to the quaint village! Thank you for your warm welcome on our visit- I even bought 2 of my little Dutch Dolls along for a photo opportunity!! 😊😊😊 they loved it too!
