Cosmo Coffee — Restaurant in New South Wales

Had to sit at a table that still had dirty plates from previous customers, cleared these ourselves. The menu said raisin toast comes with two but we only received one (for some reason they only charged us for one so we paid for the other and that wasn't a problem). My coffee finally arrived and the cup was dirty, it had dried coffee down the side which didn't go all the way to the top and looked like it had been there for sometime not likely from my coffee so I mentioned it to the girl and she said she would replace it. When she brought another out i had a sip and it was like warm milk, i let her know straight away so she took it and someone else came back harshly put it on the table without a word and snatched the table number away (not a nice experience). This was the lady making the coffee (i could see her from where I was sitting) she had made it so scaldingly hot that i burnt my mouth and have blisters. I let it sit for 20 minutes and the mug was still too hot to pick up. She knew what she had done by making it ridiculously hot because she was looking over at me. I'm not sure why it's too hard to ask for a coffee that is in a clean mug and not cold, she didn't need to do that on purpose out of spite. Very disappointed, i didn't drink it and we will not be...

16/9/25 Came here this morning 10am for breakfast, a very quiet Tuesday morning. Was planning on spending $50. Breakfast burger $19.90 wanted to swap the Bacon for haloumi as we are vegetarian and we often do this at many cafes which are always happy to swap. The girl at the counter said no swaps but you can Add on. In the Add ons, Haloumi and Bacon are both priced at $6. So whether they put Bacon or Haloumi on the burger its the same price for both the business and the customer. She said i can pay $6 to add on haloumi and Not receive Bacon and i said but that means im being charged $6 for Bacon an ingredient i wont even receive. Thats like being charged $6 for a coffee and not getting the coffee.

Then she said I can do a DIY and put things together and I said that would be more expensive. I wanted the Breakfast burger which was $19.90 with Haloumi instead of Bacon, 2 large mocha and a scrambled eggs.

So I said its fine im happy to go somewhere else. They lost a $50 sale over a $6 haloumi Bacon swap. You try to support small businesses on a quiet off peak time and they dont want to...

This is an edit of my original 4 star review. This use to be a great place. The last 3 times I have gone the service has been terrible. In the last 3 visits the food was delivery to another table which someone then ate my lunch so I returned to work without lunch. Or arrive so late other people at our table had finished. Here is today's relaxing meal out. there where 4 of us we ordered together - 4 drinks , 4 meals. Only one drink came out before the meals. Then 3 meals arrived, we pointed we where still waiting on drinks and a meal. Another drink showed up. The first person finish there meal went to the counter to point out we are still waiting on one meal and 2 drinks about 5-10 mins later the second person to finish a meal went back to the counter to point we are still waiting on 1 meal and 2 drinks. The first 3 meals now finished as one of the last two drinks arrives. The drink is wrong!! By this stage I just wanted to leave, wishing I had just eaten at home.
