Donut King Lake Haven — Restaurant in New South Wales

Nancy is the worst boss any young girl could ever ask for! Due to Nancy's constant negative attitude and berating of my child she has developed severe anxiety to the point she vomits! When my daughter has become so ill at work and has no choice but to go home or risk vomiting on some poor unsuspecting customers food, Nancy will take her shifts off her and tells her how its really unfair on the other staff and "seriously why do you do this to other staff". Like my daughter just decided to wake up that morning and become so sick with anxiety that she can't stop vomiting. DO NOT allow your child to work here or they too will end up the same. DO NOT buy from here and keep this horrible boss in business, to create more problems for more young girls. Nancy has no compassion and doesn't care about anyone else other than herself and her bank account. I will be taking this as far as I can!!!

Edit to add reply- I have previously emailed the email below with a complaint on the 25th of August 2023. I received the following response to which I have not received any further communication-

Worst Donut King. And I have been to plenty!!! I went there yesterday for a cup of coffee. I was waiting very patiently to be served and happy to wait. I know it is always busy at the time I was there. Another young man arrived and she served him first. Which was fine when I found out why. But the very rude Asian woman who worked there snapped at me "he was here first". I hadn't said a word. She snapped at me again and said the same thing. I said that I heard her and it was ok. But she continued to give me filthy looks. When I placed my ordered she was still being rude. On receiving my coffee it was in a paper cup instead of a nice cup and saucer. When I asked her why she snapped again and said there were no clean ones. Not my problem but that was fine. She practically threw my doughnuts at me as if I was not worthy of her time. If you don't like working in customer service that is fine but do not take it out on me. Fortunately there a lot of nicer places to have a coffee at Lake Haven. They’re lucky their donuts are decent because their staff are abysmal and lacklustre. Wait 5mins as first in line for them to walk up and explain to an immigrant the entire ordering process.

Teach your staff to not waste others time. Processing an order for some donuts should not be hard. I thought when the new owners took over that perhaps the attitude from the 14-16 year olds they employed would change. I was wrong.

Edit: and reading the reviews, I can see this is a common occurrence. It also looks like the business responds with the same auto reply to each review. I’ll take it up with the owner directly. You shouldn’t be regularly wasting peoples time. Really...
