The Mexican/Latina girl who was handing out orders drivethrough at 4:50PM today was pretty rude with her facial expressions!! I order over intercom, paid at the second window and went to collect at the 3rd window. She opened the window and asked abruptly what I ordered . I said grilled chicken burrito , she frowned her face and asked me to produce proof via bank statement . She could have just asked the young lady who charged me, but she didn't. While I was look for statement she went in to do whatever and while I had screen showing on the window it timed out . She gave me another dirty look and said the screen had blanked out. When I produced the statement she stated I was only charged 10.50 and there is no burrito for 10.50. I said that is what the Young lady charged me and I just tapped with my arms stretched at the window. Who looks at it anyways, you just trust that they charge you right. She then made me pay 5.50 which is fair enough. I didn't come looking to pay cheap or a free burrito either. I have been there million times and have been served by several young kids and they are polite and happy. The young girl who charged me made a mistake, fair enough its acceptable. But this Latina girl seem to have some attitude hey!! She didn't even apologise at her team members mistake but made me feel like a free burrito grabber!!! This is not nice. Read moreAbsolutely appalling handling of a situation after I left my drink bottle at the store. I called up the store to arrange pick up on my way back through. I was not able to make it back in the time that I did and upon calling the store to reconfirm that it was still there and when I would be back I was told "It's no longer here, head office was here, they told us to throw it out". The water bottle was worth $100, it was insulated stainless steel and the company has since stopped making them. This answer that I was given followed by "what do you want me to do?" Was disgraceful. I don't think head office told anyone to throw it out I think somebody working there thought they'd be better off with the bottle. If head office actually did give that direction that again that is appalling customer service. Thanks for nothing, Guzman Gomez management...
Read moreNever go through drive through if you preordered. Will take ten times longer. When you walk in to collect, you will likely be ignored for a few minutes even if staff are standing in front of you - don't waste your time going where they expect you to pickup from, always go to the cash register to at least receive some acknowledgement. Insist they check for your order and not pass you off to the section they want you at. If you preorder 8 times out of ten, the app will say it is ready when it isn't, don't rush. Pro tip for staff on break, if you aren't working, get out of the kitchen and out of the way. If you don't preorder be aware that this isn't a basic burger they are making, it is real food that takes time to make. Food has always been brilliant for us, we are regulars.
