Joe's Milkbar — Restaurant in New South Wales

We have used Joe's Milkbar a number of times being local and have always had a pretty good experience. Unfortunately on Friday we had poor service. I called to order over the phone so my husband could pick it up on his way home. I spoke to a male on the phone who took my order and said "see you soon" I asked how long roughly and he said 5-10mins. My husband arrived just over 10 mins later and they had no order for us and denied that I had made an order. I sent through a screenshot for my husband to show them that I had called their number and spoken to someone for 40seconds, 10 mins earlier. They still didn't apologise or admit any mistake. My husband then had to call me to find out what I had ordered so he stepped out of the line so the next person could be served. Once off the phone the girls who had spoken to him continued to take other orders from people who had walked in and took no initiative to bring him back to the front of the line, quickly serve him and get the order going. There was no rush on the order, no apology or accountability. We understand that mistakes happen but the way it was dealt with...

I recently had the pleasure of eating burgers from this extraordinary burger place, and let me just say, it was an absolute delight!

I chose the Americano, the patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and packed with flavor, while the melty cheese oozed out with every bite. The combination of fresh, high-quality ingredients elevated the entire experience to another level. Not only were the burgers top-notch, but the sides and were equally outstanding.

The service was exemplary as well. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions.

To top it all off, the pricing was great for the quality and portion sizes. I felt like I received excellent value for my money, considering the exceptional taste and the overall experience provided.

In conclusion, this burger place is a true gem that stands out from the rest. The culinary experience I had here surpassed my expectations in every way, and I cannot recommend it...

Wow! I saw this on IG and it didn't disappoint IRL. The burgers were delicious and juicy and stuffed full. They had crispy smash patties with super fresh add-ons. These burgers really remind me of old school milk bar burgers in flavour and execution. We came at about brunch time and there was no wait for service. The food came out quickly. The young bloke that was serving was really nice and gave us extra sauces for no charge. Good prices too. I had the Old Mate Burger and it was huge! It's was $16.50 and worth every cent. It was a bummer that milkshakes weren't on when we came. The reviews for those were great so we really wanted to try them. Maybe next time. We'll be back, for sure. Also, this is definitely a take away joint. There's one table and a couple of stools outside but it's not really designed to accommodate eat-in.
