I’ve never been so disappointed in the service at Swansea Maccas. Now I’ve gotten my fair share from them and never had a fault always been great quality til tonight. Waited 15min they were not busy inside the restaurant, drive thru was your usual medium paced. I saw the food come out under the hot lamp and wait there.. staff helped themself to putting their orders in. Staff got there meals before myself and 2 younger boys who had been waiting 10minutes at this point when the staff waited not even 5minutes.. Maccas staff served a couple who had come after myself and got fresh food whilst mine sat under the heat lamp and waited.. Then another staff was given their meal.. who ordered after myself and someone else. Again truly disappointed. To then finally get my meal and frappe. Which they are lucky it was not melted.. otherwise I would’ve said something more than I did to them tonight. They apologised for the wait. Which was just not good enough honestly. I checked all my food before moving, checking it’s all there and checking its temperature and seeing if my fries were fresh. To which my fries were not. They looked horrible and brown. I could vomit. Staff watched me as I checked everything then checking the status of my frappe. I walked out after saying. This service was not good enough and an apology isn’t good enough. I mentioned I had been waiting and saw my food sit there and wait. I mentioned other people should not come in and get fresh meals whilst others who like me wait 15minutes...
Read moreOrder meals for kids plus coffee, when they handed the food, I asked "do you have sugar for coffee". The girl answered "if you order it with coffee, you will have it" and turn back to her station. So I told my kids to check the bag, there was no sugar. So we had to parked the car and walk in to get sugar. So, Firstly, the girl who accept the order didn't ask if I need sugar or not, so we would assume there will put sugar in the pack. Secondly, if the girl who handed the food has a bit of service mind, she could just add a sugar pack for us, but she does not care. Thirdly, when we bought food from drive through service, we are in a rush (to go to airport) but have to park to get sugar for my coffee.... It doesn't serve the purpose of drive through. But , oh well... Who care !!!! This seems to be Mc Donald's staffs and management (in Australia) attitude... No matter how much you complaint to Mc Donald's, when they did not put big chips in the bag when we ordered drive through and kids miss what they want to eat (from Charlestown branch) or young staff gave the wrong changes (from Lambton branch). We never received any response from them. That's why I think this Mc Donald's Australia...
Read moreProbably the WORST I’ve been to in a while. Service Quality and Cleanliness has really gone downhill.
• Cleanliness: Looked like it hadn’t been swept; the floors had residual food scraps and lots of empty used food packaging on the tables . • Quality: The food order was COLD so rather than complete eating it or re-ordering I just binned it. • Service: The ordering machine malfunctioned or had run out of tickets; the shop person went from jovially bantering with her colleagues to a sour faced grumpy Shrek-like mutant when I had the audacity to address her and pay for my order. Thereafter she went back to her frivolous chattering self with her colleagues.
Even in 3rd world and emerging countries the overall service quality and cleanliness is much better. I hope their H.O. at Thornleigh reviews the feedback comments. This franchisee is really missing the standard levels; maybe they’ve just had enough of the retards who they pay to do a good job but in effect are quite useless.
The only good thing about this unfortunate experience was it reminds me to avoid McDonalds and to go elsewhere to a small local business...
