Burger Urge (Glendale) — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

What a place!! Just take note as of this review this place is just new, so most of the staff are just getting use to it all.

The seeding is great there's options for booth (the back), high table (the middle), bar (middle), low table (the front) and outside. The service is nice the people that work here seem friendly. They have the the table service training which helps the atmosphere of the place. The food is good! The burgers are great from all the ones that I've had, which have been most of them they taste good. For the beef the El Diablo is a good one has a bit of a bite (hot), chicken there big momma's is good did think the waffles would work but it did. Price is not bad middle rang similar to other burger joints. Don't go expecting fish and chips shop burger prices. Wait time on the food it's not too bad from my experiences​, they try to get under 10min, but if it's busy it might be a bit more can be expected as they probably don't what to sacrificed quality (and most of the people are new as from​ this review) They also serve alcohol, beer on tap.

Over all not a bad place for a feed if your looking for a burger to have by your self or with a group.

Don't order through menulog! Ordered two of their large chips and sauce (which is all my partner and myself were craving as we were sick) ended up paying $21 dollars for this which I was willing to as that is all we wanted. When the order arrived all that was in the bag was one large chips despite me ordering two with sauce, I called the restaurant multiple times and ended up getting in contact with them. When I told them the issue they said they would check with their manager but I would have to go through menulog to get a refund, they put me on hold and then proceeded to hang up on me and turn their menulog ordering off-line so I couldn't contact them through menulog. I then called them from their number but they kept letting it ring out. As someone who works in fast food customer service this was really horrible service and left a sour taste in my mouth. Other than rude staff I have never had an issue with these guys before. Not sure what the issue was today. Chips were also not great, cold and soggy by the time they got here...we live less than 5...

Ugh, what a horrible experience! A classic case of a store that's all talk and no substance. Waited in line for easily 15 minutes, yet there were only a few people in front of me - sooo slow! Only about 4 burgers to choose from, so very little variety, and very little that actually sounded appealing. Chose a burger - had pretty much no salad-style ingredients, just fats and grease everywhere, literally dripping on to the plate. Make us all feel quite sick afterwards, and I'm sure it gave me food poisoning. Of, and super expensive too - 2 burgers (and nothing else, not even chips) cost in the order of $30. The hype seems to have died down really quick though - hardily ever see anyone in the store now - guess everyone woke up to their senses and realised it's totally not worth it! Avoid...
