Best Banh Mi I've had and in Cardiff out of all places. A delicious random discovery. The locals might not realise how lucky they are. Their default Banh Mi is the BBQ Pork one. It's actually a crackling pork Banh Mi. The crispy pork skin was fantastic. The pork meat was authentic Vietnamese tasting. The Banh Mi was absolutely stuffed full of meat and the price was fantastic, very good value. It could easily be shared between 2 people. It was creamy and fulfilling with fresh cucumber and greens to balance. It's not like a Bankstown or Marrickville Banh Mi, each place has it's own style. This Cardiff style Banh Mi is well worth making the trip there to try it. A homey unassuming Vietnamese bakery with something very special.
