ORIGINAL REVIEW ... Love this place! I've been meeting with friends here for years and we all love the food. The staff are very friendly too. Lots of seating available, and a few large, round tables for very large groups. I took my cousins from Gosford here once, and they loved it so much, they've been back a couple of more times since .. that's a solid hour's drive for them, but they say it's worth the trip! Highly recommend BNE!
UPDATE!!! Went back to BNE, our favourite group meeting and eating place a month ago and our meals were not to their usual high standard. We thought maybe it was a different chef or something, but we went back again just 2 weeks ago, and all 8 of us were so disappointed with our meals, we've decided to never return! I asked if they had changed chefs and was told no, so I can't understand why the honey chicken tasted like fish; the chicken and almonds was almost totally bland; the sweet and sour pork was just sickly sweet: the fried rice was mostly white and not fried at all ... Oh, and my mother and cousins will be advised against...

The only negative thing I have to say was the soup didn’t have much flavour compared to other places we have been, it seemed to be lacking something but that is a very small complaint given the fact that the other 6 dishes were simply a 10/10. We absolutely loved the Singapore noodles and the duck in crab sauce was just delicious, they were all amazing, thank you 😊 . The service was 10/10 as well, very friendly and professional and it literally only took around 20 minutes to cook while we waited in our car in the free car park provided,...
Read moreFood quality is just ok, quantity is not much, a little overpriced for its quality and quantity. Food is either too sweet or too salty. Waitress ignored us so we have to walk to her to ask for additional chopsticks. Tables are close to each other. The Chinese painting hanging on the wall is pretty good though, gives a good Chinese cultural feeling. Plenty spaces at its own free car park. There are also on street car parking nearby. I’d only recommend it if you are too hungry and there is no other restaurants open nearby. For friends catchup, it’s also a good choice because its quiet environment. Kids friendly...
