Central Leagues Club — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Had lunch at central and OMG. Hubby had the pork knuckle. It was huge. The meat was so tender and the crackle was amazing. I had to do a taste test for him. I had the Tuscan chicken and again amazing. Meat so tender and nice veggies. Not waterlogged like a lot of other places. This used to be a regular place for us to visit once a fortnight but last time we came about a year ago it was terrible and we both swore we would never come back. Saw a review on fb so thought we’d give it another try. We will definitely be back to work our way through the menu. Well done central. A big shout out to the staff who were very friendly. Sad to say but the club is not family friendly unless you sit in the restaurant the big area is now a tab kids can't go there the only area they can be in is in the front of the bar looking at the pokies and there is only a few seats available and they have promised on them such a shame it could be a nice club but it needs to be welcomed by family's iv actually seen people walking out nowhere to sit while the massive tab area has 3 people sorry but the set up isn't good needs to be put back the way it...

We LOVE Central Leagues! We host events there every month and are always looked after exceptionally well!! The catering is extremely delicious and good value, the team are the most accommodating team you could ask for, nothing is too much trouble and they care about your function!
