When the owners are there taking orders and cooking it's great... But when the young fellow they insist on using on the front counter to take orders is there, it's slow, incompetent and his aloof, non-caring and rude/blunt attitude is a massive LIABILITY from phone orders through to waiting the PAINFULLY long period for him to actually "Acknowledge" you at the counter and then treating customers with disdain (many more times than once we've experienced this, and have never complained) but this last time, he just doesn't care... Note to owners "Get RID of him" do the front counter yourself, or at least put him out the back in the storeroom and let him pack shelves out of reach of any customer contact whatsoever, he's beyond teachable after being there pretty much since you've started there quite some years ago, it just makes a good experience of visiting nice owners and restaurant quite unbearable, we won't be back and neither will about 80 of our friends who have experienced the same... Seriously you're just going to keep losing business until you go broke, and that's very unfair to the owners because they're really nice people...

A tremendous Australian Chinese restaurant in a local club.

This is my family's go-to for great, tasty and high-value Australian chinese. We can go to other places for a wider range of more 'real' Chinese food but Secret Garden has great flavours, perfect textures and good value, especially if a club member. We've always had a good time.

We love the combination chow mein, the garlic seafood, and omelettes - our go-tos. We also enjoy the laksa, especially if we take it home for the next day - and the crispy duck. Many other dishes are excellent too, and we rotate in extras every time we go.

Wow an unassuming exquisite culinary delight. Beautiful friendly greeting. The menu has many styles and dishes to choose from. Very quick My mixed entree was the cleanest deep fry food I've EVER eaten, delish flavoured oil, so light and golden. The pieces were packed with real flavour to. The mains once again, ever so fresh, clean and packed with flavour. Serves are very generous and the pricing is fantastic. The dining room is decorated with gorgeous murals.
