Ribs & Pizza on Glebe — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Wow is all we can say. The food, the food, the food.... EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERY WAY!!. This little gem of a place ticks every box in every way. From the minute you walk in for sit down or takeaway the staff are super friendly and accommodating.

They really know the food they are selling to which is a refreshing change from plenty of other places around.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming without being over the top. The Ribs are right up there with "World Famous Places" like Man V's Food feature all the time. We had the Beef and Pork ribs. Both were so tender that they literally jumped off the bones and OMG so tasty... no need for any additional sauces at all. Waffle fries were as good as Jethroes in Des moines Iowa and that's quite a compliment to the owner of Adam's.

These guys arent just some place that pretends to be an American Ribs and Pizza place by splashing around a few crappy souvenirs and saying they do ribs.... These guys actually go to the US every year to learn from the worlds best.... AND IT SHOW'S....

If you've never had proper American style greasy spoon comfort food before then save the money on an airfare and just visit Adam's... trust us with the super affordable prices and huge portions will make guarantee you will never want to eat elsewhere.

Was very excited to check this place out when I discovered it. Menu selection is good and very reasonably priced, excluding the ribs which is to be expected though. A good selection of soda and wow they have real sugar coke (Mexican coke)! Onto our order, we got bacon Mac, full rack of pork ribs and Sicilian pasta. Firstly why haven't you updated your prices on the menu on your website, it doesn't take long. Ok so the bacon Mac, one of the best I've tasted in Australia, nice Smokey bacon with a good thick creamy and cheesy sauce, good job. Next the ribs, not good at all. They were over cooked exposing majority of the bones, the membrane on the back of the ribs was not removed which is fine but only if you're smoking them for hours... but these aren't smoked ribs. Where was the flavour? They tasted like old meat. You claim the best ribs in Newcastle and I got some of the worst ribs I've tasted in Newcastle. My partner got the Sicilian pasta, she said it was ok but again seemed to lack a bit of flavour. Maybe we were just spoilt with how good the Mac n cheese was? We might be back, people seem to have good experiences and there is more things on the menu we'd like to try. Just sort out what you're doing...

Ordered delivery Thursday 17/0725. The food was EPIC. Was a little disappointed the online menu didn’t have tomahawk steak, but I ended up being stoked because the ribs were the best I’ve ever had in my life - I could have literally cut them with a tissue! We also got pizza and pasta. I’m a dominos / Pizza Hut kind of guy, however the Carnevour pizza has not only changed my life, but stopped me searching for dominos vouchers for the immediate future. To top it off, we got a boscaiola pasta. Oh my. Wow. Hang on. I wish I could satisfy my mrs as much as this pasta did… that’s all I’ll say about that.

I have 4 picky kids and an indecisive wife that only knows what she ‘doesn’t want to eat’. Ordering take away is brain damage. When our food was delivered, the pure silence of no one complaining and just eating was the equivalent of winning the dad lotto.

Short story - if you want a screamer of a meal, at a cracking price, this is your place… way too good to pass.
