Piggy Food Co — Restaurant in North Fremantle

I visited this established early Saturday Evening with my partner and another couple. Our visit got off to a promising start, the tap list was impressive and on point.

We opted for the Beer Farm IPA and it didn't disappoint, smooth, punchy and immensely satisfying. As the place was pretty busy we were delighted to find a vacant table grabbed a couple of chairs, life was good.

As we settled in we were soon approached by a member of staff (tall, blonde girl, didn't catch her name) and she asked my partner if she'd taken her chair from another table. My partner confirmed that this was indeed correct.

To our astonishment the staff member asked if she could have the chair back as it belonged to another (empty) table! Thus leaving my partner standing with her drink next to the rest of us who were all seated. A rather odd sight to say the least!

As my partner towered above us and weighed up her options we scanned the room and managed to find another chair, which was unbelievably positioned next to the empty table in question. We can only speculate as to why the staff member didn't take this one.

After the terse exchange our IPA's no longer tasted all that great and we proceeded to hastily finish them. After all we'd be doing our bit to help the seating situation.

The line 'craft beer with attitude' never...

Went here on the 29/06/22 with my band before our gig at mojos down the road. We were happily greeted by two lovely staff members who helped us out and their service was impeccable, I wish I caught their names because they really did stand out to me as amazing workers. Their recommendations on the food and also drinks was amazing and definitely lead to us all having a great time. I Had ordered the double American cheeseburger with bacon and it did not disappoint one bit. The Hot wings were also really lovely with the BBQ sauce and ranch. Definitely would recommend this place to other people in north freo.

The staff were probably the nail on the coffin for me in terms of enjoyment the way they joked around with us and gave some great suggestions was definitely a worth it spot to try for...

It's getting 4 stars because they have an excellent craft beer selection on tap. The food was okay and I enjoy chipotle as much as the next guy but it's on everything along with a strong olive oil on the salsa fresca just made every dish taste the same, we had; fries 8/10 (W chipotle mayo, crunchy & nice) Mexican bean loaded fries 6/10, good enough would have preferred the cheese melted. fish taco 3/10: chipotle mayo had no place in this. Fish was cooked perfect, salsa nice and hand made tortilla was very good but the mayo overrode it making it unenjoyable. I think if you had a different filling it would have been great.
