I’d like to share my bad experience at Subway Berrimah Drive Thru this afternoon. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t pleasant. Went to buy stuff during lunch break at JB WiFi with one of my workmate. Both of us had lunch from home, we decided to have something special. He suggested to have something from Subway. At drive thru speaker, we’re asked to order, as it’s my first time, my mate was advising during order. The guy in the speaker became impatience, told we made him confused, requested him if I can come to the front window and order from there. He didn’t seem to understand. Later told us to drive to the window. When I started driving, heard the F word (I’m sure). Asked the lady at the window to talk to the guy that we spoke to. First she said he’s busy, later explained what happened, she sent him to us. The guy didn’t want to let us talking. Later asked him- 1. Is that a good customer service? Specially for the first comer? 2. Why he made the F word? He said aircon hasn’t been working for last 2 days, it’s busy time- that’s why he was a bit agitated. When mentioned about making a complain, he said- we want people to make complaints, so the authorities will understand why they’re behaving rudely (as aircon isn’t working)!!!!! We didn’t buy anything, just left. Subway, is this real customer service? Wish you guys will provide proper training during recruiting. Look at Mecca/ KFC/ Hungry Jacks or Red Rooster. They always have big line, being a food lover, often visit to them, haven’t noticed these types...
Read moreFood was good but rude staff. All 4 staff working on the 21st September 25 afternoon were very unpleasant especially the one male staff member.
I witnessed two of the female staff rolling their eyes and side eyeing customers multiple times when being asked simple questions by customers even the one taking orders on the headset. My poor mom decided last minute that she wanted egg in her salad (after already paying) which I was more than happy to pay for and the male staff said ‘How am I going to charge you for that??? Just for egg??’ As if I was supposed to know what he should do… I will have to charge you a 6inch sub’. I wouldn’t know but wouldn’t it have been possible to charge for a few cookies to make up for it? It was such a simple request but he made it a big deal.
I was polite and said thank you over and over hoping it would turn their mood around but idk why I bothered honestly.
Judging by the other reviews almost everyone seems to feel the same lol but seems like nothing is being done to change anything.
If you want to dine in, in a good mood or not feel like a burden don’t bother going to Subway Berrimah and go to any other store. Nightcliff...
Read moreI'm not one to write a review but as I've worked at a Subway before I basically know what kind of standard to expect. Firstly, I was there at the lunch rush which I know how stressful that can be, but when I asked for my salads to be toasted on my bread the response was " we don't toast salads" - no apology, no strong recommendations not to, no reason why. Anyway, I got an apologetic smile from the next girl so I let it go. Secondly, I got lettuce put on my roll even though I didn't ask for it, when I reminded him of this he apologised, took it off and put it back in the container for it to go on someone else's sub. Yum. Thirdly, I've never eaten so many pickles in one mouthful like I did today. Lastly, overall cheeriness of the place was a solid 3/10. I've never been more motivated to organise myself to pack my own lunch,...
