Archer Hotel — Restaurant in Nowra

My husband and I, after choosing a lot, went to spend Christmas Eve at the Night Cup, by the way, very good for the photos! until we reached the hotel reception when, we were very poorly attended by the receptionist Amanda, we asked her if there was a bathtub in the room, because, in the hotel advertisement they show us a bathtub, which we thought our room would have one, however, with a large Grudgingly, the employee Amanda told us that the hotel did NOT have a bathtub, I showed her the advertisement photo of the room with the bathtub and she ended up telling us that there were two rooms with a bathtub, but that they were already occupied. unfortunately, the employees are not prepared and are not qualified to serve customers, as they lack education. The only polite person in the place was the cleaner, who by the way was very polite and friendly! If you have babies or small children, it will be very difficult to heat a bottle because there is not even a microwave available in the entire hotel, and when we went to look for a kitchen, everything was already closed at 9 pm and there was no employee in the place. To our surprise, the next day, when we went to enjoy the pool, we found that it was not available for use! We chose this hotel for the bathtub, the pool, and the comfort we expected because of the photos, in short, the hotel is only good in the photos, I felt deceived and...

We went to Nowra for the weekend and didn’t know where to stay. We found this place on google at the last minute we decided to try it out. WOW what a reception. The loving young lady at the front counter at the accommodation was sooooo lovely and helpful, she was very informative with all that goes on in the pub and the local town it was great to see someone with a great attitude again. We then meet the chef and another worker on the way out and they told us what meals were the best at the pub, which was walking distance from our room. We then went to dinner and the people were so nice and polite that we stay for dinner and drinks and gambling and probably spent $600 in total for the night. This place was clean and tidy and COVID friendly which was very important to me. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that needs a well priced clean and tidy place to stay. Definitely lacking in service. We waited for close to 10mins to place our dinner order while we were continually ignored for people wanting drinks or tidying the bar area. When we called out to be served we were barked at and told to wait. Apparently wiping down the bar takes priority over a group of 15 wanting to order meals. When we were finally served there was no apology and we were spoken to with an attitude and no eye contact. Maybe expecting the bar staff to take food orders is asking to much of them. We also reserved a table for our large group and this wasnt organised so we had to rearrange the tables ourselves in amongst other diners. On the plus side the food was brilliant and came out rather quickly and the kitchen staff were really friendly. But bad service means we won’t be back any time...
