Groove Cafe — Restaurant in Ocean Grove

I’m not a coffee drinker but I do know my hot chocolates. Anyone out there who has had to suffer through watery, tasteless hot chocs check out Groove, it’s the best hot choccie you’ll find in not just Vic but Australia! My partner loves the coffee, so if you’re a coffee person you’re also in for a lovely drink. We are regular visitors to Groove and I’ve never had a bad experience. Everything else is sublime too, fantastic range and quality of food and the staff are top tier. One other thing about Groove that I love is the feel of it being my “local”. Nipped down for an early smoko due to a little moisture falling from the sky. The food was good if a litte on the expensive side. That is to be expected in Ocean Grove, but when the food is good it is acceptable. The sausage roll was particularly good. One downside was the high humidity in store caused my glasses to fog up and made it difficult to check facebook as I waited for my satay chicken wrap to be toasted. PS. Got to go to the cafe for the first time this morning. Food was great, coffee is good, but this review is for the service. In about two minutes, just by over hearing the conversations while I was waiting for my coffee, I knew the owner's name, I learnt a bunch of customers name (the staff knew their order) and what they were up too.
