To say I am obsessed with this place is an REAL understatement!!
Frequently visiting here, minimally once a week! I have always found the service offered by all the team members is always warm, welcoming and friendly! The iced chocolates are yum! The brewed beans are the only ones I drink! And let’s not forget miss 3 loves Krystals hot chocs !
The freshly baked goods always take me back to my Nonnahs kitchen! The lamingtons are my favourite, not only are they huge, they are soft and the combination of sponge vs icing ratio is on point.! And the variety to choose from, whether you like Match sticks, vanilla slice, custard tarts, sponge kisses the list goes on and if you havnt tried a mushroom, it’s worth the special trip!
There is something for everyone (even the gluten free people!!)
But the real show stopper is the cheese and bacon pie!! The golden perfectly flakey pastry, delicious meat and bacon filling topped with melted cheese, writing this makes me want another!
We have even used Hansel and Gretels for gift boxes, and the people receiving the delicious goods are now frequent customers.

Finished off with something sweet, it was hard to choose as they all looked amazing, however the lamington was just screaming out at me. It was huge, soft and fluffy and was hard to keep the kids from stealing it off me.
Can’t wait to get back to Orange to try more of their savoury and...
Read moreOver the past decade or so I had grown to very much dislike finger buns. I assumed that maybe they one of those things I'd liked as a child but had grown out of... turns out I was wrong. The issue is that all the finger buns I'd eaten in my adulthood were actually poor, dry imitations of the finger buns of my childhood. We got 3 finger buns from Hansel and Gretel this afternoon and they were delicious. I felt 6 years old again and immediately remembered why I had once like them. Soft, lightly spiced and with a scattering of fruit; then topped with thick icing that was just the right amount of sweet. The hardest part was sharing them! I will definitely be back to try...
