It was a wonderful experience~! This place has jumped up to our No. 1 in Hunter Valley. Their Restaurant Manager, Mr. Brent Parkinson, is a lovely person with extensive knowledge with their food & wine. Brent enjoys talking with us & he made us have lots of fun talking to him. The Main Chef, Anthony's wife is working on the floor as well. She is very knowledgeable & told us about their history in the restaurant industry & how The Main Chef ages take the at most care for their food & decoration. The place is very elegant & gorgeous with huge fireplace, Tuscany, Teracotta-like building with good tastes & reused natural timber beams. Very sophisticated. Their food is beyond our expectations. We had octopus & Wagyu bresaola for entrée, meat of the day & White lamb for main, & bitter chocolate tart & crème brulee for dessert. Everything was so beautiful & fantastic. Their dishes are many different shapes & colors. Their cutlery is most likely custom-made with a rustic handle & a sharp tilted end. This place has opened about 2 years ago & we are fortunate to try & discover this superb place. We've been to Hunter Valley so many times in the last 22 years & tried many restaurants. We would certainly come back to this place, definitely with my mom-in-law. Thank you so much, Brent, Anthony, & his wife (we forgot to...
Read moreWe had booked a tasting menu for 6 of us ( at $140 each ) and sadly the experience did not live up to the expectations. The welcome was non existent - on arrival , we had to find our own way to the dining room , and whilst waitresses did the best they could , and were friendly , there was an obvious lack of training . The chosen starters were excellent , and some of the main courses ( especially the lamb shoulder ) were delicious . However, two of our party had chosen the beef and what arrived was almost inedible . We asked the waitress to raise our concerns with the chef and the response was astonishing . Rather than come out to speak to us ( there were only 4 other guests eating) , the chef sent a message ( via the poor waitress ) saying that the beef was fine and there was nothing wrong . We eat out regularly and do know enough to know when a dish is ok or not . The arrogance of the chef was amazing . To assume that there were no issues and to offer no apology was very disappointing . Sadly, whilst there was some excellent food , if you are after a fine dining experience , we do not recommend visiting Tower Lodge Restaurant . Today we had a three course lunch at another winery at almost half the price and the experience...

The restaurant’s artistic decor and lofty ceilings create a relaxing space with an elegant ambience. It’s a canvas where flavors came alive. Picture this: a decent fireplace area beckoning you for pre-dinner drinks. The crackling flames added a touch of warmth and sophistication.
With 5-6 carefully crafted items spanning entrées, mains, and desserts, choosing became a delightful challenge. Fear not—you’ll find something to amuse your taste buds.
Brace yourself for the tiramisu revelation! Its delicate, creamy texture danced in harmony with the heavenly coffee flavor from the immersion. This dessert was second to none—a must-try for all connoisseurs. While the beef filet impressed, a minor tweak awaited. The crust was slightly too hard, but fear not—fine-tuning can elevate it to heavenly perfection.
The staff here transcended mere service—they’re culinary guides, ensuring your experience is etched in memory.
In summary, this restaurant was where flavors...
