Cam Way Estate — Hotel in Pokolbin

We stayed here for 2 nights for a nearby concert, We had a 4 bedroom cottage which was simply perfect. |Fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, and everything you would need for cleaning, and fully equipped laundry. 2 bathrooms with extra towels for every guest in bedrooms. Each bedroom had aircon and a huge reverse cycle AC in the living room which itself was spacious and comfortable. |A wrap around verandah with a table and enough chairs to accomodate 8 people with BBQ facilities. This looked out onto|the immaculate grounds. A natural watercourse ran through the grounds. The grounds had many native birds and wildlife such as kangaroos. An old house on the grounds allowed for great photo ops, with old farm machinery dotted around giving it a lovely feel.|The swimming pool and activities room were well taken care of and stocked to cater to guests.|The larger cabins were well located away from the smaller ones so noise did not travel throughout the estate.|Staff are very professional and friendly, as well as knowledgeable about the area and services that outside companies offer for concerts (if going to Bimbadgen by bus the coach comes right into the estate for pick up, the estate being located behind Pokolbin village allows for a quick walk across the road if the concert is at Hope estate). |Staff went out of their way to ensure We were well taken care of at check in and check out, even going so far as to text me a photo of something I left behind in order to clarify they had found it...thank you Nicole :)|We would highly recommend Cam-Way for a weekend stay or longer and it is perfect for concert goers, families, couples and singles wanting...

Stay here if you want somewhere that is clean, in a great central location, and you can get a better deal on the price.

The fire pits are great fun, and the tennis court is great during the day. Be warned, they charge you 25AUD to turn the court lights on so it is expensive if you don't get your swing on during the day.

We stayed here as a family group and paid 550aud per night for the large 2 bedroom cottage. It is only large if you compare it to the smaller cottages and is definitely not worth 550 per night. Unfortunately we did leave it to the last minute however I would recommend going somewhere cheaper.

I stayed in cottage no 2 which was spotlessly clean. I found the en-suite room to be freezing cold, but no one else had this problem so it was probably just me. The decor is very dated which again, is why i wouldn't pay 550 to stay here. The fire pit looks out onto the square where all the other cottages are so if you want a bit of privacy I'd recommend cottage no 3.

The other family we travelled with stayed in cottage 3 and had a problem with the bugs in their bathroom. They didn't complain of the cold, however felt that it was small (the family room was a double with a single crammed into a small room) and dated. The fire pit and bbq were private away from the other cottages.

We made a booking for a 4 bedroom villa for our son's wedding last November but unfortunately, due to covid, the wedding was cancelled. The staff at Cam way Estate were wonderful and so helpful to us through this difficult time to rebook for the new date. We finally made it to Pokolbin and Cam Way proved to be a wonderful choice for the event. Weddings are always hectic and it was so nice to be situated in such a peaceful and relaxing environment. The villa was very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy a special family experience. The wide verandahs, the outdoor firepit and the view toward the petting zoo were such lovely bonuses. The grounds are kept so clean and the dotted table and chairs around the property were a nice touch. Thank you to the staff who were not just professional but extremely friendly and helped with local advice and made us feel welcome. We are looking forward to rebooking again, without a wedding to deal with, and enjoy all the other venues within walking distance of the accommodation. Highly recommend a...
