We were looking forward to this meal as our hosts Rachelle Hobbs and Rusputin Ra had experienced good meals previously. Sadly we were all let down 😧

The food was not clearly labelled and poorly presented. The food did NOT resemble the item images on their website. The samosas were tiny and only a quarter of the size of the image presented on the website.

We preordered and we had to wait for the order to finish being cooked, but the food was already cold by the time we got home; a 3 minute journey!

Even with seasoned palates, there was no way to tell the curries apart with exception to being able to identify the meat or vegetable in each dish. We didn't bother taking photos as they all looked the same.

To round the experience our order was incomplete, they failed to supply the essential Naan and the coconut rice we ordered.

Resembled dehydrated roadkill with no flavour! ONION BHAJI SpicySpicy - Fritters of sliced onion in chickpea batter

RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED & SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTING!! $8.00 per serve a whopping 100ml! Freezer burned and felt like you were chewing frozen sugar granules with a horrid chemical after taste. MATKA KULFI Matka Kulfi is a traditional Indian ice cream with a dense, creamy texture. It's different from regular ice cream because: It's typically made with whole milk, sugar, nuts (like pistachios and almonds), and spices (like cardamom).

Save your money and go elsewhere, I seriously doubt we'll recommend to others or go...

Thank you so very much to the team at Curries by Beard Brothers for an excellent dinner experience. We recently held a group dinner for our company's social club here, and we all were welcomed in and accommodated far beyond expectation. Booking online was simple, and when I called the day before to add a few extra numbers, it was made very easy. We were greeted with smiles all around and made to feel very welcome.

A total of 16 of us dined here and the staff were extremely friendly, smiling, helpful and fun, with an excellent and efficient ordering system in place for large groups so that there was no confusion on who ordered what, and a seamless split payment system at the end of the night which made payment a breeze (we were the last to leave since we were having so much fun!).

Of course, the food was absolutely delicious and the menu had a great range of options for all diets and preferences. Meal sizes were perfectly sized so that we could eat our fill but not have too much left over. We also had a few bottles of delicious wine from a great drinks menu. I definitely have to recommend the chilli-cheese-garlic naan, that was a hit!!

The friendliness and hospitality of the staff made the experience all the more better so thank you to the team at Curries by Beard Brothers, keep up the great work. I highly recommend paying them a visit. We'll...

During my recent visit to Port Augusta, I opted for a takeout meal from this Indian restaurant. Regrettably, while I intended to order the "Chicken Tikka Masala," I received the "Butter Chicken" instead. Despite my exhaustion from a nine-hour drive, I was unable to return to rectify the mistake. My concern lies in the fact that if the restaurant had provided the Chicken Tikka Masala, it appeared to be misidentified.

Among the dishes, the Beef Vindaloo stood out positively, delivering rich and satisfying flavors. However, I found the portion sizes of both the Chicken 65 and the Beef and Chicken Biryani to be rather disappointing. Given the price point, nearly $18 for a Biryani, I anticipated larger servings and a higher standard of quality, especially considering my prior experiences dining at various Indian restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne.

The service experience was commendable; the ordering process was efficient, and the food was promptly prepared.

Overall, while the Beef Vindaloo and Chicken 65 were enjoyable, the miscommunication regarding the dish, coupled with the portion sizes of certain items, impacted the overall satisfaction...
