Dropped in and grabbed a bite to eat for lunch. The service was quick even though there were a lot of customers. We had the sweet potato waffle fries with garlic aioli sauce and the seafood sampler. The sweet potato fries were super delicious! The garlic aioli sauce was pretty average but it goes well with the fries. The seafood sampler was ok. The person eating that said it all kind of tasted the same. They suggested that it might be because it was all crumbed in the same kind of coating. It doesn't come with a wedge of lemon but it does comes with tartare sauce which seemed a bit odd, however it did say that on the menu. All in all it was not a bad feed. Between the two of us we had a heap of leftovers so the servings are very large which is always a plus! There's also a lot of vegetarian options which is nice and inclusive. Last night we ordered burgers and chips delivered to our home. Delivery was on time and well packaged and presented. The burgers and chips were hot and the chips cooked to perfection and crunchy. My Works Burger was the best hamburger I have ever had and it was hot, fresh, salubrious and satisfying. My whole family love Asty’s JR as well whenever they visit us in Port Macquarie. No one can match their chips for quality and taste. The choices of extras are amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful. Fresh ingredients that has been made with thought, every burger I have eaten wasn't just slapped together. These guys are great to deal with and I am yet to have a order I want satisfied with. Peak times can see a large group of people congregating around waiting for the fresh chips with a fresh loaf of bread. They also make milkshakes to order, whilst I haven't had one myself my mother gave it positive reviews and would go back for another.
