Apex Milk Bar — Restaurant in Queensland

Stopped by after having a bad experience with another hamburger restaurant in the city. It's the one that looks like a counterfeit Shake Shack. Long story short, Apex Milk Bar blows them out of the water. Mostly on the breas, but also the overall service. The shop is simple and the seating could use a tune up, but the food is great and the staff are friendly.

I won't be making it to Apex Milk Bar regulaley, but I'll definitely be stopping by when I get the urge for a proper ha burger with a proper burger.

Update: Lost two stars on a visit in mid-June. Good only for takeaway. In an environment with loud music you probably shouldn't work with a name based ordering system. Numbers work fine. On top of this the guy taking food to tables wasn't checking names, instead called out what he was carrying. After a mixed up on a shake we were visited 3 times to clarify. Staffing costs of dealing with the mixup far outran the cost of just fixing the problem.

Order online, but visiting isn't recommended.

Also, they took the onion rings off the menu and replaced them with an Onion Bajhi like starter. Good, but Indian dish doesnt...

If you want to order an overpriced meal that is either to oily or dry this is the place for you! They don't wash their hands in between service and cooking and they certainly don't wear gloves. I ordered over the phone and they said 15 minutes. I got there after 20 minutes only to wait another 30. I got fish and chips and a burger combo. The fish was oily, the burger was dry, and the chips were soggy and you could barely take a bite because they were so soggy.

The NEW owner, is benefiting of old reviews and doesn't treat her employees well. She sits on her phone as she watches them cook and not to help them just criticise them for things that aren't even problems yet hygiene is not one??

Their tables are sticky so don't eat outside and the games they have barely work. They have a claw machine, a gun game, racing car machine and the only one that works is a punching bag which doesn't work half the time after you put the money in.

Majority of her customers are obviously high schoolers and let's keep it that way because dinner here is no better...

We ordered: Peri Peri Chiken, Barra Burger and Fish&Chips Combo (1 free can of drink). we paid $52, so the price was very decent 💰 We both ate our fill, and I can eat a lot.

🍔The fish in the burger and the sauce were tasty, but I prefer the bun lightly toasted or roasted instead of soft.🍔

🍟🐟Fish & chips are great, very large portions, and the fries are made just the way I like them the most. 🐟🍟

🍽🛋The place is currently suitable only for takeaway, because there are no tables inside like there used to be. They only have a few benches outside but no fans, so it's very hot.🔥
