At Jambo Pastry, a Filipino cafe in Cairns, we were treated to an exceptional dining experience. This is the Best food we ever taste in Cairns! Authentic Filipino food. So delicious on a very very very cheap price, 3 menu plus rice plus scoop of ice cream, $16.50 only! (Philippine flavour ice cream!). We ate adobo, ginataang langka (is the best of all!), sinigang na isda, ayaw din patatalo, lumpia, fried fish— add a Friendly and generous staff. Have driven last for so long wanting to go in as I was curious about Filipino food. Finally I drove past and it was open whne I was free off work. It’s small an unassuming. But such friendly atmosphere. Was absolutely packed which is a great sign. I wasn’t sure what the food I was getting was as I’m not familiar with Filipino cuisine but I was excited to try.
