If I could leave 0 stars I would. Do not go here if you are have hearing impairment/deaf or use any kind of hearing support. TWICE I have had the same problem with the same person who is discriminatory, ignorant and down right hostile and rude towards people with disabilities. Twice I have left this store in 3 months upset. Worse is that I'm fairly sure the woman is the owner! I use a hearing relay transcribe which I have told this same woman before after the last time she was rude and hostile to me. Today I asked for my order at the counter only for her to start getting it, then leave it on the counter, blatantly ignore me while I stood there saying "hello, hello, can you repeat that" for her to continue to turn her back on me, stack pastry shelves and turn around to give items aimlessly in the display shelf. Me repeating "hello" continuously for her to reply with an attitude about "being on my phone ". I was not on my phone, it was on the counter visibly transcribing which I have explained before (and the last time she did this and I told her) and all other staff have seen me before. Ive come here for years but always try to avoid her. She then glares at me and says "what is the question" when I kept trying to talk. I can also lip read but it's impossible if a rude person turns their back on you!!!! This person is rude, hostile, discriminatory and honestly intimidating- you should not work in customer service if serving someone with a hearing disability is too hard for you. I will be reporting to the human rights commission. I was trying to have a good day and hate being in public for exactly this, you humiliated me yet again when I was very friendly to you....

not a bad little local bakery. sign out the front said best carrot cake in town. now two things: one is that I more than anyone else appreciate wild grandiose claims of greatness, particularly when baked goods are involved, and two I would consider myself quite a sharp and experienced judge of a carrot cake (due to my upbringing and general high consumption of carrot cake). there are three things holding this cake back from being great, let alone the best in town: icing, the fact that one of the ingredients is sultanas, and moisture (specifically lack of). the icing is far too sugary and course, you want a creamy vanilla topping on a very MOIST cake, with NO sultanas. i repeat: absolutely zero sultanas. Normally I wouldn't focus so much on the cake when reviewing a normal bakery but when the sandwich board is proclaiming such high esteem, the judging needs to be proportional. without this incalculable weight of expectation the carrot cake would probably benefit. overall though this bakery has what you need at a competitive price. i would recommend this bakery, but if you, like me, purchase the carrot cake expecting to be placing into your mouth the best toowoomba has to offer, you will be slightly disappointed.

Sandwich lettuce was gritty, almost like it wasn't washed properly, considerably overpriced. BLT $12 that's highway robbery. Pie was ok again over priced at $8. Won't go back with prices like that.

It's somewhat funny that there are several reviews stating it's overpriced and been this way for months. And there are replies which is good to see but clearly no action taken based on feedback. If you want to have returning customers listen and action. Saying you going to take onboard the feedback and do nothing means you really don't care. This is why I will never return or purchase from the franchise again.

Disappointed is an understatement.

Why cut and paste the same stupid reply as you have on every other negative review. You don't care and not will you do anything to change this.

Just another reason I will not be going back and ensuring everyone I know doesn't go there either.
