This could be the best Japanese restaurant in Northern Queensland. I have no idea how it came to be in Gordonvale, but I'm glad I found it. Super generous serves of donburi and odon depending on what you're hankering for (plus sushi rolls and a lot more). All served as hot and fast as you'll find it in Jaoan. All it was missing was a call button on the table and diners occasionally yelling out 恙ćæć¾ć›ć‚“!

Love this place. The sushi is fresh and delicious. I tried the miso soup today and it was the best miso soup I have ever had. I also enjoy that itā€™s in Gordonvale and I do not have to drive far to get good quality food.

I love this place and it's food but I think the people need to learn better communication, I came in this afternoon and asked for a KATSU CURRY, I didn't get a katsu curry I got katsudon I don't know where she got that from when I asked for a curry dish that has curry in the name I'm quiet disappointed, she seemed to not understand a thing I was talking about which is odd for someone who's been there for quiet a while, as said disappointed and angered by...

My favourite Japanese takeout in Cairns. Has delicious rice bowls as well as sushi and other dishes available. Can eat in but I prefer to order on phone and takeout. My favourite is the sweet pork belly rice bowl. Large servings of meat with tasty sauces. Bowls so large I can barely finish them. Recommend to anyone seeking that...
