KFC Chinchilla — Restaurant in Queensland

As an avid chicken loving enthusiast from new york city, that has travelled the globe in search of that sweet succulent bird of paradise, I was both deeply upset and perplexed when I recieved my order at the Kentucky fried chicken establishment in chinchilla. I had heard such raving reviews from my friend here in Australia, that I was propelled to buy myself a one way ticket just to experience what he had explained to me over Skype as the "best meal of his life" Well where to begin do you ask?

Do you know the saying "if looks could kill"? That's the thought I had when opening up your brown paperbags. What I was met with has left me shocked and shaking for week's. It was a tower burger combo. Not only does it have sweet succulent chicken, but it also has a deep fried hashbrown in it as well. The combination of such a good looking burger combined with the smell of that deep fried chicken left me emotionally weak and vulnerable. I experienced a spiritual awakening that I shall never forget. I have now shared a picture of your meal to my wife back home in America and I'm thankful to say that you have saved my marriage. Got food at 11:34am

We left the drive through and were asked to go wait for chips. We waited for about 10 minutes. I went in as I have a 5 month and 2 yr old.I saw a guy filing older looking chips into a box and said I hope my chips are fresh as we have been waiting for fresh chips. He said they would be. I waited about 10 minutes in the shop with my restless kids in the car with their dad. Finally got our food and drove to a nice spot and unloaded the kids and food. Very disappointed to see I got a different piece to a leg which I requested in my burger box. My partners large chips were literally half full. They were also terrible. To top it off my burger had 2 lids 😞. Seriously It’s not the first time I have received half full chips. If the staff are overwhelmed it needs to be addressed. If I could give it no star rating I would. This place should be shut down by the health inspector. If the tables and floor are that grubby and in such a mess at off peak trading hours can you imagine what the kitchen is like. Also the fact that we are in the time of covid 19 and everything is suppose to be sanitised-tables and chairs included. God only knows where people have been so they are breaking every rule to start with. The food was horrible and chips cold and soggy so had to ask for fresh ones after stating that I wanted fresh in the first place. We were the only people dining in and they couldn't even bring it to the table. Who owns and manages the Chinchilla KFC???
