Chinchilla Botanic Parkland — Attraction in Chinchilla

Took our Grandson here & his dog, after school, for some fun & a very welcome cool down. He absolutely loved it, getting soaked in the water playground. This is a great Parkland & botanical garden. It is just a block or so from his school. Dog friendly Park with great amenities, barbecues & covered tables with seating. There are so many other activities to entertain adventurous kids, even a little beautiful stream that some kids also were having fun in. Lawn areas also to relax on, oh & beside the water playground there is like banana lounges to relax. This is by far one of the best Parkland I have ever taken my Grandson to. This is such a cool little water park with water canons and sprinklers all featuring watermelons! Let’s be honest that’s what Chinchilla is famous for! Our little one had a great time splashing around. There is some shaded areas especially under the water but it’ll depend on the time of day that you go as to how much shade there will be.

There are showers nearby to rinse yourself before you leave also which is handy.

Someone has really put a lot of thought into the design of this Parkland. There is a water park, cultural area, of course beautiful plants with easy walkways all through and around. There are also delightfully clean restrooms with a clever setup of one external sink for handwashing but with Handwash as well. Congrats Chinchilla on providing such a great facility.
