Panache Cafe and Homewares — Restaurant in Queensland

First visit to panache today after hearing good things about their takeaway baked goods. We decided to sit in and order from the menu. Chicken quesadilla was okay but a bit bland. Midway through the meal asked the waitress if there was more water as the self serve water fridge behind us was empty. She glanced at the fridge behind me and said 'no' and begun to walk off. I was quite surprised by this reply, understandably, and not knowing what to say started an audible ummmmmm well could you may- cut off by the waitress who quickly said "I'll check". She came back begrudgingly with a bottle and a sullen look on the side. We then decided to get some takeaway cakes and none of them were labelled so we asked a different lady for a run down of what they all were- she looked confused and said ohh I'm not sure sorry... She then asked the drought lady to assist and between the two of them both looking confused they managed to find the words. Not sure what they are putting in the brownies here but the staff could definitely brush up on their customer service skills! The smores brownie was amazing, the malteser slice...

Travelling coffee lovers listen up. We are on a road trip and as you probably know, getting a good coffee is pretty hit & miss particularly in country towns. If you also like a non-dairy brew it’s even harder. Happy to say that Panache delivered and our Almond Lattes were on point. They use the “Alternative” brand of Almond Milk which is just as good as Milk Lab and the Soy option was Bon Soy. The coffee was smooth & a good full bodied flavour. Don’t let the plain looking exterior or out of town Highway location put you off. The interior has a great vibe and the steady flow of regulars getting their daily brew was testament to the quality of their product.
