Three of us went here for a meal on a busy Saturday night. Good thing we booked as it was very busy. I tried to order using the qr code, but it wouldn't accept payment, so I went to the register. The woman serving was friendly and asked the kitchen to give me just slaw instead of salad. They were okay with this, which is great, as more and more places will not accommodate peoples taste, and I end up throwing away most of the salads. My uncle got the drinks, and he commented that the bar staff didn't really know what they were doing, but he eventually got the right drinks. We had to wait in line a bit for both, I don't think it was unreasonable for how busy it was, and we have had to wait a lot longer at other establishments. The garlicbread came out quickly, and the meals were not long after that. We all enjoyed our meal. It was good pub food. Nothing fancy or standout. We would go again.

We booked here because we had been to the restaurant a few times in the past and because it is in a great location and has a swimming pool. We were told at check-in that they had provided extra towels because the shower was wheelchair accessible and the water was running out the bathroom door due to the bathroom floor and shower being completely flat. Unfortunately, this was not the case at all (see photos), the shower waterproofing had failed and water was leaking very heavily straight through the bathroom wall/floor onto the carpet in the main room. This issue was nothing to do with the shower being wheelchair accessible. We informed reception immediately and showed them photos. This caused the room to smell and we weren't offered to be moved to a different room or offered a reduced price. Whilst the swimming pool, restaurant and location are great features, unfortunately, I don't think we would stay again.

The hotel was nice, however, the parking situation was bad. There was no allocated parking for certain rooms, and we were told to use whatever space was available. The shower had mildew or something similar on the soap ledge, and you can hear the neighbours having a shower. There are no bedside lamps and no plug points near one of the beds. No hair dryer was given, and the fire extinguisher outside our room was in a broken glass case. The positives were that the restaurant staff were very lovely and made the experience very nice. The location was close to the water and close to places we wanted to go. The pool was also very nice. For the price of the room, it wasn't too bad, but could definitely use some updates. In my opinion it was worth it. The people around were nice, and so was the area.

Great family holiday resort. We had a 4 night stay Some issues with the room, just small things...more cosmetic than anything. Could do with a lil TLC or re-vamp. Dining was pleasant with a good selection of meals. Breakfast was a buffet, bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, potato gems, toasting facilities, cereal and fresh fruit. Quite large portions for dinner and steaks cooked how you like. One evening, after waiting almost an hour for our meal, we had to ask where our meal was and got told our order was "misplaced". We were offered a free drink and desserts and our meal arrived quickly after. We had dinner there the next night with no issues. Very friendly staff. Exceptional reception staff.

Food was OK, just not as good as I hoped for pub fare. The location is great, heaps of turtles in the lake and relaxing views. What stood out for me was Thalia, the restaurant lead, she was possibly the best customer service person I have seen. Smart, fast, effective and an infectious smile
