Weâve tried this bakery twice and did not have a good experience on both occasions.
The first visit we were given the wrong coffee order. We ordered cappuccinos and instead they brought to our table black coffee with almond milk.
Itâs a small local establishment so we decided to drink them anyway knowing that once sipped nobody else would want them. And what a waste to toss the drinks! As we watched them come to the realization they delivered the wrong drinks they didnât acknowledge their mistake. They didnât apologize for their mistake. They actually just went about their business in a way that clearly said, âthose people have no any idea theyâre not drinking cappuccinos. What schmucks!â They acknowledged their mistake to the table whose coffee were mistakenly given to us. But no apology to us.
The second visit we arrived just in time to see the barista scratching the inside of her nostril with one hand while foaming milk with the other. The horror on my face was clearly caught by the said barista because she made the WORST âcappuccinoâ we have ever had. Maybe on purpose. Maybe not. Either wayâŠthey were terrible. Delivered in a coffee mug.
Additionally, I ordered a croquet monsieur and they attempted to serve it cold. Who eats a croquet monsieur COLD?!? They did warm it after my request but..why wouldnât heating be standard? Such a weird vibe in this bakery. Lots of other bakeries to...

Read moreI'm french I've been living in Australia 10 years and this is by far the best croissants, pain au chocolat and baguettes I've ever had on this continent. Honestly I had tears in my eyes, tears of joy, tears of sweet childhood memory that brings me back to the french country side when my mum would take me to the bakery after school. And before you ask, no they are not overpriced, you want an artisan product made with love, with care and passion or do you want so goop made by a machine in a factory. Theses are straight from french heaven, the flakes are light, the layers are crispy and buttery, they are airy and melt in your mouth. Definitely worth the trip if you are after a bit of french finesse for your breakfast or if ou want to surprise your loved ones in the morning with armful of pastries and bread like we do in france and bring that buttered joy that will...
