FORGETTABLE! We went today for lunch at around 1.00pm, 3 persons. Absolutely chaotic. They seem to be totally unable to handle the midday rush: long queues at the order counter, staff out of their depth... There is no senior person/manager in visable/in charge...it appears the floor staff are all young students, who need some basic hospitality training, urgently! We ordered 3 very simple dishes and waited well over an hour (!) for the first dish to arrive. The other two meals arrived 20 minutes later. No explanation, no apologies...totally unacceptable! The quality of the food was also way below par: salt & pepper calamari stone cold and rubbery, fries cold and soggy. The "Thai Beef Salad" should be taken off the menu - beef tough and inedible (the chef should visit any Thai restaurant to learn how this simple dish is done properly!). Barramundi didn't taste fresh and was overcooked. This Cafe charges "restaurant prices" for those appalling meals and the "service" is a joke! Incidentally we were not the only guest waiting and complaining....we noticed many other very unhappy customers. We definitely cannot recommend this Cafe and will certainly...

Very disappointed with my breakfast experience yesterday. I hadn’t been to limberlost for years and was excited to meet a friend for breakfast and plant shopping. My friend ordered at the table. I went inside to order so I could find out what the juice of the day was. The lady in front of me was ordered for a large group. When I ordered I explained to the cashier that my friend had ordered from the table and asked them to bring the meals out together. My friends food arrived and she ate. By the time she was finished her meal, I asked a waitress to follow up on my missing meal. She was disinterested. When my meal finally arrived it was cold. The gluten free bread had been sitting on the plate for so long it had hardened so much that I could barely cut it with my knife. The bread was completely inedible. The bacon was stone cold. The eggs were mildly warm. I ate the eggs and a piece of cold bacon before leaving dissatisfied. When I am paying $46 for breakfast I expect it to be warm and edible. (Eggs benny $33, gf bread...

Beautiful location, some of our food was okay. Terrible customer services.

I asked for butter for my toast and the lady behind the counter said they don’t offer butter because they use spray oil when cooking the bread. Then I asked if they had a high chair. They offered no assistance whilst I was holding my young baby. The high chairs were stacked behind the main door. Luckily two ladies who were eating their breakfast helped me.

Lastly, they forgot one of our meals. When my aunt went up to the counter to ask where her meal was, the three ladies behind the counter said she didn’t order it. Then they found the docket. They didn’t even apologise! When the meal arrived it was cold and slapped onto the plate with no apology.

This isn’t the first time we have received bad customer service from here. It’s such a shame because we are within walking distance to the cafe and the staff in the nursery...

Gorgeous. Vibes like the grounds of Alexandria meets your corner garden centre CAFE for BREAKFAST, BRUNCH LUNCH boasting home made cakes like belt seasonal menu( and staff who smile 😊 and get the food out as fast as cairns time allows! Come enjoy all the normal coffee teas and exquisite pottery and sweet gifts shop. 🪴PLANTS and garden centre to browse through- extensive range and clearly experienced staff. The outdoor areas are so beautiful they’ve put so much work into the area making it beautiful. You feel like you’re sitting in a sweet aunts garden. Among big trees, pants for sale and decor like outdoor chandeliers the fairy garden is pretty to see with kids and menu catering to both gf and df alike. So pleased to give this place a 5 star ⭐️ rating. You’ve outdone your little garden centre. Perfect spot. Our large ladies group had a fabulous time! We will be back 😊🤩

really enjoyed the overall atmosphere — the attached nursery added such a unique and peaceful touch. It felt refreshing to be surrounded by greenery while dining. While the ambiance was lovely and relaxing, the food itself was fairly average. Nothing particularly stood out on the menu in terms of flavor or presentation. That said, the setting makes it a nice spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a slow morning.

Wonderful nursery full of many varieties of plants, gardening items, ideas on how to utilise space & wonderful for gifts & gift ideas.. Lovely cafe with friendly staff! I'm lactose intolerant & I had an amazingly wonderful staff member who went over & above to accommodate (unfortunately I didn't get her name, but a big Thanks!!) I didn't end up feeling sick post morning tea as a result of her!
