I was on my way up north and drove past a sign saying that Mick's Bread Kitchen had the best pies in all of Queensland (conveniently it was located right off the highway); unfortunately, I am sad to report that wasn't the case. While waiting on line I was looking at the large selection of pies that were listed above the counter and noticed the astronomical prices that were next to the pies, (5.90)! On average, pies are $4 and normally there is no price on the happiness but in this case there was.... & it was too much. I hade gotten a cheese and bacon pie as well as a sausage roll. To begin with, they were both way too small. When biting into the pie, I noticed the meat was minced & not chunky as I had imagined. As far as the gravy went it was delicious; however, it was lacking quantity ...... besides that, the pie was okay and the roll was quite nice. The staff were quite friendly and I am sure they could answer any questions about any of their many bakery items. Definitely stop by if you are on the run and need...

When you think Hinchinbrookshire region what comes to mind? Is it the world famous Hinchinbrook island? Or the beautiful rainforests lining the Herbert river catchment. Well when I reminisce on my fond memories of visiting Ingham, my greatest of memories all come from the time I spent at Mick's Bread Kitchen. If you're looking for world-class pastries, comparable to the likes of 5-star European restaurants, or pies greater than any other across the whole of Australia all for an affordable price, than look no further. Mick's Bread Kitchen is a must-see attraction for anyone looking to make some memories and find a sense of fulfilment in their life. I am finally at peace with my inner self now that I have completed my pilgrimage to this utterly gobsmacking bakery. I urge you to do the same. Drop everything you are doing and make the journey to Ingham today to experience this life changing...

Passing through Ingham and was keen to visit mick's bread kitchen as they have award winning pies. I would like to know who presented an award to this business for their pies. I bought a chilli beef pie and a ned Kelly pie, both of which were absolutely terrible. They were extremely small and were expensive. The chilli beef pie was not spicy or hot in any way shape or form, this is normally why you would buy a chilli pie. As for the ned Kelly pie, it was the first pie from a bakery I have bitten into that was cold on the inside. Very disappointed with my experience and will not be returning. On the up side I found a park quite easily, if that actually would sway someone's decision to eat at such an...

Mick's Bread Kitchen on Authurs Street in Ingham is a long-standing establishment, having been around since 1990. This beautiful bakery offers a smorgasbord of sweet and savoury goodies, including coffee, cakes, pies, sausage rolls, and a variety of breads. They are open six days a week from 6 AM, but are closed on Sundays. I enjoyed a meal for $22, which included a soft drink, pie, and sausage roll. The crust of their baked goods is delightfully flaky. A great spot to ease your hangry-ness!

We were driving through and seen a sign for Mick's famous pies so thought we would give them a try. The moment you walk in they great you and take your order. The pie selection was great, and they also offered sausage rolls as well. We had a hard time choosing a dessert as there were so many delectable to choose from but we stuck with a good Ole Custard slice. I had a pizza pie & Tristan had a Lamb & Roseman, ohhh my they were so flavourful💕 The best pies we have had in Queensland.

Saw the large sign on the north side of town as we drove into Ingham at lunchtime. Google reviews looked great so had to try their pies. I had a smoked hickery pork pie and my partner had a chunky steak pie. We also shared a small apple pie and a vanilla slice. All food was fresh and delicious. The flavour of the smoked hickery pork pie was unique and well worth trying. Staff service was also first class. We will definately call in next time we come through Ingham.
