Close to CBD (across the bridge on Northside near Dominos Pizza and Doblos fresh fruit & vege market outdoor, near Cricket grounds.

If you haven't already heard, Rockhampton is the Sports capital of Australia, there are more diverse sporting grounds, fields, tracks, ovals and indoor sporting events.

I've lived here half my life and I'm stl amazed how many local sporting events are on, several conveniently located within a kilometre of the Raffles Hotel.

Someone at work had suggested this hotel. The venue was rundown and out of the way, but the food was fantastic. The meals were very cheap and quite large.

I enjoyed the loaded potato skins followed by their carbonate pasta with lots of generous chunks of chicken, mushrooms and bacon throughout the dish.

My wife really enjoyed her bruschetta and her crumbed steak, which was huge and was only $20. Other schnitzels were also available for $20 as well.

Will definitely return when next...

This place is not what you think. It looks okay on the outside, modern on the inside and then there's the dining room. It looks outdated and I heard they served good meals so I still ordered. Luckily I went, it was the best pub meal I had in Rockhampton. I am not related or know anyone there either. It is my opinion and I go out for a counter meal a lot. Bloody lovely and...
