I wish I could give it no stars. I can’t say anything bad about the food, it is pretty good, not fantastic but good. It is a little overpriced for the standard by comparison to some better Indian restaurants in Townsville. I gave the low rating because of the owner and her interaction with the public. She is so sweet if you heap praise on her, but as soon as you complain she turns and is completely unprofessional even though it was a mistake made by her business. I went in one Friday evening and had a pleasant conversation with the owner while I waited for my order. The order came out and I then walked out having wished her a great night. What I didn’t know was that I had been given someone else’s order and I didn’t think to check when it was handed to me. I did a check as soon as I got in my car and noticed the order was wrong. I went back to highlight the problem and the lovely lady whom I had just been chatting to was a completely different personality and accused me of lying and that I got what I ordered. It was a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde moment. I don’t think I will return after that incident. What is worse, is that I had mentioned a food allergy when I ordered and the food I was given had that allergen in it. I have learnt a lesson from this incident and I now check every take away order I buy before I walk out of...

With all due respect, I would not consider this authentic let alone "Indian" food. It looked like something an Aussie would make at home having no Indian or cooking background. I ordered a butter chicken which lacked flavour, there was no sauce it was like a thick stew chicken veggie stew and seemed to be made with a shredded woolworths chicken... The rice was also gluggy like glue when you put too much water in the rice and over cook it. The second dish we ordered was some sort of beef dish which was a step up from the butter chicken which was below average to say the least. I don't want to be rude but I wouldn't go back. Especially as each dish was roughly $18.50+ I was honestly shocked with what we received and really disappointed. I should have taken it back and asked for a refund as I threw...

A menu with incorrect punctuation leads to incorrect order. Vindaloo looks to be a separate option from 'special marinade chilli' as is listed on the paper menu. My order on the phone was for mango beef curry with marinande chilli, I got vindaloo. I wasn't told until after I got home and called phoned up that marinade chilli was in vindaloo. Proper punctuation would've been good here. Response was 'it's a simple menu, anyone who is dumb can read it'. Was then met with a very unprofessional conversation and it was implied that it should be an easy menu to read because a white person wrote it. Laughable when you pay $26 and aren't refunded because after having eaten a small amount they won't refund food which would only be thrown away. Curry was edible....
