The first impression was clean and tidy establishment followed by polite staff with welcome smiles. Felt like an old fashioned burger wrapped like the good ole days with a side of wrapped chips to match. No disappointment! Mince burgers were spot on with fresh homemade patties, fresh buns, and salad with the signature Aussie beetroot ! $2 chips came out wrapped like I was back in my childhood. So cute ! Ripped open the top to eat them on the way to the beach, and boy were they cooked to perfection ! Fresh oil, crispy chips, and for the price, plenty of them. Best I've had in a long time. Well done ! I will be back ❤️

These guys bring you the goods! I tried the whole range of their fish and chips products and was happy with everything. Very generous portions for reasonable pricing. Feels fresh. Chippies could be a bit crispier to my taste, but the volume of food compensates for that. Saved my day, when i unexpectedly had to feed 5 adults and 4 kids, so I ordered a whole heap of food over the phone to be ready by exact time. No stress. Paid at the counter and picked up everything freshly made.

Now this is what an old fashioned FISH'NCHIPS shop is supposed to be like. BIG slabs of fresh fish, a wedge of lemon , a heaping pile of golden chips, and we got a handful of their tiny little battered prawns to start us off. Two big blokes couldn't begin to eat all of the chips we got for five bucks and then the battered Red Emperor fish was sweet, delicate and delicious. ( Aren't we lucky to live in BUNDABERG where the fish comes straight off the reef and into our FISH'NCHIP shops? We couldn't have been more pleased with the friendly service from REDDY and his staff . By golly that place was jumping busy with dinner orders as the word has got around that this is the place to go for your FISH'NCHIPS, just as we were recommended to CHECK-IT-OUT, so now it is my turn to say the same. 2 weeks ago it would have been a 5star review been going here for past 6yrs or so. But last week got large chips cheese and gravy which is normally nice and full but not this time would have been half full, I put this down to everyone has a bad night. Well go back last night ordered the usual $6 chips we get which was more then enough for a side for us and have been ordering for a long time. We'll last night it was half the amount again. I don't know if it's new owner or something but portion sizes have dropped alot. As a bigger family we loved that when you ordered chips you got a great portion. Ofcourse I'll be back will order more in future just sad to see this happen and without any warning so people can adjust...
