The Outpost Cafe is located at 44 Christie St,Canungra QLD 4275. This is the perfect place for locals & tourists alike to enjoy this unique cafe in the main street of Canungra.

It is a wonderful place that caters to everyone's needs, I was more than impressed with the detailed menu, which is located on the wall where you place your orders.

The other important factor is that people with a disability are looked after with an easy entry into this cafe, & there is access to seating & toilets are on-site.

Adequate parking is available, but during busy periods, it can be difficult.

I found that the Customer Service was excellent & efficient, with my order for coffee ☕️ & pie 🥧 to be value for money 💰.

I once again mention the menu. It has everything you require.

The other point of interest is the collection of old equipment that would have been used for timber cutting in the decades past. It's worth the time to have a good look around the Outpost Cafe.

It was definitely worth stopping by The Outpost Cafe on my journey to the Kokoda Barracks for the Canungra Combat Challenge held on Saturday, the 17th of June 2023.

I also had the pleasure of once again stopping by The Outpost Cafe on Saturday, the 15th of June 2024.

I was a volunteer from Kedron Wavell RSL Sub Branch working with Brisbase Legacy for the Canungra Combat Challenge (C3), which is annually held at the...

You're only as good as your last experience... I'm a local that comes to your cafe most weekends and spends some money and after today i dont think that will continue not that ot will affect your business in anyway being a major tourist hub. The problem all began when i lined up to have a four year old in training take my order with a lady prompting her how to use the pos this has never happened to me before at your cafe so i just ran with it placed my order then went and sat down. My meal was then delivered to me by what seemed to be a 7 year old young boy this was also worrying as im not sure this is allowed anyway chalked that one up to you guys maybe being sort staffed. Then i noticed that i was missing the baked beans from my meal so went inside to ask if they had forgot them, was told yep we will bring them out. A lady brought the beans out told me quite rudely that i had not ordered them i the first place or even paid for them i was quite upset about this as she had just basically called me a lair in front of one of my close friends. So i said she could take them back and maybe that 4 year old trainee had made a mistake. Anyways you used to be cool outpost but after this experience at your now daycare/cafe i won't be back. Thanks for the good times but yeah i did oder the beans with my stockmans mega as...

Very well known motorcycle cafe. Opens at 5am daily with a wide range of regulars and visitors. The reason its so popular as a motorcycle stop off is two fold. Its located behind the Gold Coast hinterland in a wealth of motorcycling roads. The other reason is the quality food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable eg a light breakfast is toast, eggs ( to your choice), bacon, hash brown and grilled tomato for $10.95(2018). They have a limited alcohol service licence but most responsible motorcycle riders 1. Don't drink and drive Enjoy riding not drinking. Service is quick and to the table. A wide range of other foods includes pies such as the new Lamb & Rosemary. A good selection ( well no Saxby drinks) of cold drinks is on display. The outdoor covered seating area has been extended to cater for the increased number of patrons. Even if you don't ride a bike you will be welcome and enjoy looking at the ever changing range of motorbikes on their fine machinery. A real plus is that range of bikes not thevusual non ending Harley Davidson motorcycles. Expect to see touring bikes, sport bikes the occasional sort bike and even one off specials like limited edition MV...

So I didn’t need another addiction in my life. I tried their store made sausage roll this morning and was absolutely blown away. The quality, the flavour, the everything about this almost made me tear up. I’ve tasted many a sausage roll in my life and in my travels, but this has hit the bar up really high. It was somehow juicy on the inside (I would say due to quality ingredients with a perfect blend of meat and natural fats), perfectly balanced with flavour so you could taste the meat and was not over salted like a lot of places do to mask flavour. I didn’t feel like crap or get indigestion after having this (again, due to not over salting) and it was a perfect combination of freshly oven baked pastry and sausage mix. Overall this is a complete 10/10. You guys have nailed what a sausage roll should be and please don’t change. The price is on point for what you get. Anyone reading this, do yourself a favour and get one of these bad boys if you are going through Canungra. Or even make a special trip just to experience this perfection 😂. Keep being awesome Outpost Cafe.
